Congress exposed on double-speak over SYL

SYL has been a contentious and emotive issue, which always remained bone of contention between Punjab and Haryana. Punjab would never spare their share of river water with Haryana for obvious reasons.
Capt. Amarinder Singh has been responsible for creating all the mess pertaining to sharing of river waters between Punjab and Haryana. Unfortunately, till date Punjabis are bearing the loss as Captain Amarimder never really understood the dire need of Punjabis.
Not comprehending the complex nature and history of internal conflict, Congress added fuel to the matter. Termination of Water Agreement Act 2004 further widened the rift between Punjab and Haryana. Congress Punjab got the full support of the Central Government (Congress) in this case. The main occupation of Punjabis is farming and it is well known as an agricultural border state.
Harbinger of Green Revolution in India, Punjab is known as food basket of the country. As a result, state requires more water for irrigation for farming purpose. Congress is the party which ruled India and Punjab on the basis of famous policy “Divide and Rule”. Where as Akalis always claimed that they won’t let any other state take a single drop of water from Punjab, Congress did the opposite despite knowing the fact that Punjab doesnt even have a drop of water to spare with anybody.
Amarinder Singh did nothing in tswarajya-2016-03-0982b193-e84c-4f97-a1f6-3c2ef52b0324-ind1he favor of Punjabis. He kept himself busy in provoking and hurting the sentiments of people. He instigated the agitation across the state a number of times. It’s been years now, but Congress failed to take any correct and helpful action in the same. For now, SAD-BJP government currently ruling in Punjab has taken a strict action to not share river waters at any cost.
So we will have to wait till this dispute gets sorted out. God knows if it will have a “happy ending” or a sad one. But we must say Congress is really great at creating disputes.

Reality check on Congress performance in midst of pre -poll surveys

T.V channels are all set with their assumptions, facts, and theories about the results of upcoming poll results? And the recent addition is the survey of India Today Group. As per their opinion poll, Congress is going to mark a victory next year. Their poll made a projection that Captain Amarinder Singh is emerging as one of the popular chief minister candidates in Punjab.

14720466_1597616187210332_1769709287550853646_n

Maybe, PPCC President tried to “use” the “media” for the self-praise but totally at the wrong time. As we all know, this is the era of technology and we have all the proofs of India Today’s fake surveys and “self-created” results, which claimed the victory of Congress in the year 2012 also and we all know the actual results.

What’s the reality?

Keeping these “paid” results aside, what’s the real scenario of Punjab? Congress’ has gained all the popularity due to the “infighting” and “violence” created by its members. Here are some headlines:

14543948_1597263027245648_7363037089134813969_o 14711186_1597554817216469_7434189249396294228_o

  • Youth congress secretary got arrested in Ludhiana for violence and 37 more members were booked on the same charge.
  • Members of Congress, Bittu and Ashu are booked under kidnapping and attempt to murder cases.
  • Congress leader shot a nephew of political leader
  • Captain Amarinder Singh chooses Politics over Nation’s security
  • Rahul Gandhi slammed over “Dalali” statement
  • Congress aspirants to boycott party interview

Looking at the point given above, it is quite hard to imagine that Captain is getting “popular” and Congress is ready to mark a “victory”.

Suggestion to Captain:

So, we have come up with some suggestions for the captain. It’s better to face the reality than to hide it behind the “paid media results”. You should focus on solving the issues with your own party members, and teach them some lessons on “Teamwork” and “Unity”. Tell your youth members to stop misusing their political powers. Last but not the least, before publishing such “poll results”, save your own “CM Seat” because Sidhu is all set to replace you.

Punjab Congress confused, making campaigns after campaigns

The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee has been making campaigns after campaigns as confusion prevailed within the party for making a concrete strategy for the upcoming Punjab assembly polls.

The AICC had signed the prominent poll strategist Prashant Kishore for the political makeover of Punjab Congress and Uttar Pradesh Congress. However, the poll strategist Kishore completely failed to gain grounds in Punjab as the party is affected with the factionalism within the leadership and workers.

Kishore had designed the program, ‘Coffee with Captain’ which drew flak as the youngsters started asking him the questions regarding his absenteeism in assembly and parliament.

Another programme, ‘Halke Da Captain’ didn’t fetch the crowd, and ‘Punjab Congress Express’ derailed in the state. Finally, the Punjab Congress is all set to kick off its farmer outreach campaign to reach out to each and every farmer from October 12.

Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Captain Amarinder Singh said in the first phase – from October 12 to October 25, party workers will engage with more than 25 lakh households.

The party will establish direct contact with 75 lakh voters, reaching out to more than two crore people in this period. Amarinder played farmer card to woo the farmers of Punjab. He said that if the party forms the government, the farmers would be waived off from their all farm debts.

It is evident that the former Chief Minister of Punjab had done nothing for the welfare of the farmers in his five years regime. Farmers held protests during his tenure as Punjab Chief Minister.

It seems the Punjab Congress has been struggling hard to gain the grounds in Punjab politics. The party has been coming out with some programmes to reach out the masses, but programmes failed to woo the voters of Punjab.

Congress theme song: entertainment or poll gimmick?

Congress theme song: entertainment or poll gimmick?

PPCC president Captain Amarinder Singh and party are highly desperate to mark a victory in the upcoming Punjab elections 2017. A huge amount was spent to hire the best strategist Prashant Kishore to plan and manage the election campaigns and strategies for the same. “Halke Vich Captain” and “Sune aur Sunayein” campaigns were also organized to increase the public interaction in order to “understand” the public demands. However, these efforts went in vain when public refused to fall into the trap of congress and captain.

Therefore, Congress came up with a new and unique plan to woo the voters i.e. Music. Yes, you heard it right; PPCC is all set to take the help from the best form of entertainment, music. During the next campaign of congress party, background music will be played for the audience. Not normal songs, but the “praise songs” will be on the track list. Richa Sharma and Shahid Mallya (singer of Chitta Ve song of controversial movie ‘Udta Punjab’) have sung the song named “Chaunda Hai Punjab, Captain Di Sarkar”. This song would be the theme song, which has already been test played in the program “Halke Vich Captain” of captain Amarinder Singh.

As per the sources, the song is prepared to give certain “messages” to the people of Punjab. It is to tell the people that Punjab belongs to a Punjabi and that Punjabi is none other than Captain himself (We wonder where was this “Punjabi Son” before?). “It will get people into the Bhangra mode,” a Congress leader said in his statement. Opening line of the theme song is “pind pind the sheher sheher, bas ikko challe leher leher”.

Looking at the efforts of Congress to win in the upcoming elections, we will not be surprised if they release a movie with the title like “I’m the Punjabi” (starring Captain Amarinder Singh and Aroosa Alam) before elections. But both Captain and Congress should know the fact that Punjabis have already a long list of songs’ on their playlist, they really don’t need your “sensational music”.

Are politicians above the law?

Are politicians above the law?

“An SUV in Mukatsar ran over a 10 year old boy crushing him to death in front of large number of people and no one including victim’s family wants to file a complaint.”

Why No Complaint?
Don’t they feel like guilty person should be punished? Don’t they think that any action or incident, which causes a criminal offence, is liable for legal action? Above all, don’t they think that a 10 year old innocent boy should get justice? If they do feel so, then what is stopping them to go to police and file a complaint so that guilty should get punishment for this inhuman act? Simple reason is that the car is owned by a “friend” of National Youth Congress President “Raja Warring”.

Raja Warring’s involvement in the case
Resident of Doda village, Gurkanwal Singh, a 10 year old boy was coming out from a barber’s shop after getting a haircut and a SUV hit him. Little did the boy know that it would be his last haircut as the accident took his life. Gurkanwal was taken to hospital where the doctors declared him dead. The car is owned by Happy Sharma (close friend of Raja Warring), but the local residents indentify the car as “Raja Warring’s” personal car because most of the time it’s Warring who drives it.

Threatened or Pressurized?
Dharminder Singh, father of victim filed no complaint and also denied for the postmortem of his son’s body. In charge of Doda police station said that they had registered no complaint, as victim’s family didn’t want to do so.

Influence of power overshadows Humanity
It is so sad to realize that we are living in such a world where people like “Raja Warring” use their “political power” and “money” to suppress the voice of downtrodden and prevent truth from coming to light. It’s high time when we should speak out and fight for rights to put people like Raja Warring and his driver behind the bars.

Captain’s attempt to milk serious issue backfires

Congress is a well known party, which is known to take the “benefits” out of the serious issues of the state Punjab. When SYL issue was raised, congress leaders (out of nowhere) tried their best to take the “credits”, even when everyone knew that it was the party who initiated the issue. Something like this happened again when it came to the appointment of separate Chandigarh administrator.

On Wednesday, KJ Alphons, a retired bureaucrat and BJP leader was appointed as the independent governor Administrator for the Union Territory by the centre government. With this appointment, an old matter of Punjab-Chandigarh got heated up, and so the political environment of Punjab. As per Rajiv-Longowal accord, Chandigarh was to be transferred to the state Punjab, which never happened.

_21ec6956-64fe-11e6-b7cc-991406f1fe11.png

Considering this opportunity as a “golden” one, Captain Amarinder Singh “strongly rejected” this action of the central government but instead of getting the praise and appreciation, all he received was heap of questions and allegations from the people of Punjab. They blamed Captain and Congress for the division of Chandigarh and Punjab. People asked Amarinder to give clarifications on the 25-26 January 1986 incident, when Congress betrayed the trust of Punjab by making Chandigarh a union Territory instead of transferring it to Punjab. People would definitely want to know that why former CM  did not give resignation from the Congress party for doing  partiality with Punjab.

Akali Dal members, however, took the charge again just like SYL and warned the centre government to not to appoint any other administrator to Chandigarh. Now, the governor of Punjab is given the duty (additional) of Chandigarh administrator.

So, it’s high time when congress and Captain Amarinder Singh needs to understand that “blaming” others and “doing nothing” won’t help you in getting votes from Punjab.

Captain’s hunger for supremacy amounts to downfall of Congress

The factionalism and internal rifts of Congress party are not hidden from anyone and this is known to be one of the major reasons of Congress’ downfall on the political ground. This is not a new “trend” in Congress when one member would blame other for all the wrong doings. In this battle of blames and lies, Captain Amarinder Singh seems to be taking all the “benefits”. He does not look worried due to these rifts at all, but is constantly trying to turn these internal rifts beneficial for him.

congress-94

We can do better analysis on the situation by taking the example of Gulchain Singh and Shakeel Ahmed. They were not the strongest contenders but were still given powerful positions. The reason was their “close links” with the royal Singh. Harish Chaudhary, another member when tried to make his point was treated badly in the party, as Captain Amarinder Singh never wants to transfer his powers to anyone else.

Also, as per sources, when Pratap Singh Bajwa was the president of Congress, Amarinder left no chance to take his position and wrote a letter to Mrs. Gandhi saying that bajwa is a “drug lord”. Not just that, when there was doubt of making Mr. Singh, the president of party, he threatened the high authorities to form a new party of his own, after which he was granted the “president” position.

2015_9$largeimg23_Sep_2015_012035030

If we look at the recent incident of welcoming Asha Kumari in Punjab, sources claim that this happened because of the Captain himself. He wanted to take charge of the party hence appointed Asha Kumari here.

From all above-mentioned incidents, it is clearly exposed that what Captain craves the most is power and charge. He would never allow someone else to take his position.  But here we would want to remind Captain Amarinder Singh that “TEAM WORK” is a practice that is important to accomplish any project, so you better learn it.

Jagmeet Brar fires another salvo at Capt Amarinder

15 August, Independence Day, is the day of celebration as we Indians got independence on this date in the year 1947. But as this date is coming closer, it is increasing the “nervousness” of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President, Captain Amarinder Singh. The reason is nothing but the own party member of congress Punjab, Jagmeet Singh Brar, who has been expelled from the party recently. His harsh tweets and frustration towards Congress party has become the reason of his suspension from the party. Jagmeet Singh Brar did not stop commenting harsh and negative things about the party even after series of warnings, so high authorities finally decided to expel him. He showed his anger by taking the support of social media like twitter and stated the reasons of annoyance.

brar

In a recent interview, he said that he has the entire details of Captain Amarinder Singh’s Swiss bank accounts. He claimed that former Cm has more than 860 Crore rupees in the foreign accounts on the name of his son Raninder Singh and wife Preneet Kaur. He added that Captain looted the hard-earned money of Punjabis and transferred the same to countries like Dubai, Switzerland and Pakistan. He has also saved the money under the name of some foreign trust. Sending money to country like Pakistan is purely Anti-National, Brar said.

swissleaks

With these statements, Jagmeet said that he is all set to reveal all the secret information of Captain Amarinder Singh and his family’s Swiss bank accounts. He added that he would do the same on 15 August 5, 2016. So, we all should get ready to celebrate the Independence Day, this is going to be special you know…!!!

Forced on the backfoot, Congress in Punjab leaving no stone unturned to prevent third successive defeat

In a recent interview, PPCC president Captain Amarinder Singh claimed that his party has the capability of winning in the 2017 Assembly by two-third majority. The “overwhelming” response from the people was reason of his surety. As per Captain Amarinder Singh’s opinion, current government has created a gap b/w administration & govt. and Punjabis think that only Congress is capable of filling the void.

If the above-mentioned claims are true then here are few questions and public would definitely want to know the answers from the “KING” himself.

  1. Why Captain Amarinder Singh invited Navjot Singh Sidhu to his party?

Captain Amarinder Singh tried three times and invited Mr. Sidhu to his part, who recently gave resignation from the Rajya Sabha. Although in revert all Sidhu gave to him was “silence” and “pure silence”.

maxresdefault

  1. Why Captain Amarinder Singh shifted his focus to Pargat Singh (after hearing a “no” from Sidhu) and “welcomed” him in his party?

Pargat Singh, an ex member of SAD-BJP government was also offered an opportunity to join Congress party and just like Sidhu he said a big “NO”.

priyanka-confidential-759

  1. Why Captain Amarinder Singh suggested Priyanka Gandhi to support the party in Punjab?

Priyanka Gandhi, Daughter of Sonia Gandhi was asked to join the Punjab Congress party for the upcoming elections 2017 as she is the crowd puller and people like her.

In interviews, Captain claims to win by major margin and on the other hand, he is trying all “hit and trial” methods. If this is nervousness, lack of clarity, confusion or what, we have no idea but Congress definitely needs to get an idea on this matter.

By doing such acts, Congress is doing nothing but showing its desperation to wear the crown of victory.

Captain desperate to keep Congress’ Sinking ship afloat

Punjab electoral battle seems more interesting this time as a lot “unexpected” is happening. In this Tsunami of “hits and trials” and “sought out plans”, Congress has decided to follow the approach of “make hay while the sun shines”. But the problem here is to make sure if the sun is really shining or its just some temporary brightness that may seem shiny but is an illusion.

Golden Opportunity: Navjot Singh Sidhu
Let us clear this air by coming to the point. Two big “political tsunamis” that happened in the last week is resignation of Navjot Singh Sidhu from Rajya Sabha and suspension of Akali MLA Pargat Singh from BJP-SAD. Although Sidhu did not give any statement or cited any reason for his resignation; but Congress surely sees this act of him as a “golden opportunity”. Captain clearly welcomed Sidhu in the party and even reminded him of the “past times” when his father was a part of Congress party. Getting no response from Mr. Sidhu, the focus of Congress shifted to another “expelled member” i.e. Pargat Singh.
13700979_655157254642215_8866534620159366058_o

“Topic of Interest”: Pargat Singh
A meeting was held in Delhi to discuss the further plans and moves. As per the sources, a major part of this discussion involved the former Olympian. Asha Kumari, Capt Amarinder, Charanjit Channi, and Ambika Soni were present at the meeting. Pargat singh, however, showed no interest in this proposal of Captain Amarinder Singh.

Rat Race
Calling the “expelled or resigned” members in his party, other members of Congress were annoyed with Captain Amarinder Singh. Sources claim that some party members sent an e-mail to President Sonia Gandhi to complain about this “annoying behavior” of Amarinder Singh. “Competition threat” can be other reason of Congress party workers for not allowing “wild card entry” of any outsider in the semi-finals of this race.

The recent action of Captain Amarinder Singh clearly hints towards the uncertainty and immature plans of the party. It’s like Captain wants to take any risk to win after two defeats in Punjab.
