Land grabber Channi talking about idealism

chandigarh-addressing-hindustan-charanjit-session-chandigarh-thursday_8be2a474-ed8a-11e5-ac02-508f1e0d4bee

The Punjab Congress Legislature Party chief Charanjit Singh Channi said the party MLAs elected in the February 2017 elections would declare their assets every year.

The land grabber who has been facing the criminal case of grabbing a land of Gurudwara and even he was involved in a one crore fraud. Channi, the political opportunist, contested Punjab assembly election independently in 2007, and he managed to win by distributing black money.

Even he had offered the unconditional support to the SAD-BJP Government in 2007. He wanted to join a prominent political party, and finally, he used his Dalit card and entered in Punjab Congress.

Channi never looked back and collected huge illegal wealth because of his strong political connections with PPCC Chief Amarinder Singh. The elevation of the legislator as leader of the opposition was because of his Dalit card, and Amarinder made him Congress Legislature Party head.

The over ambitious Congress legislator has been making the statement to impress the people that every year the Punjab Congress legislators would declare their assets if the party forms the government.

He is facing criminal cases, and it is on the record that in 2007, he was supported by the land mafia to win the polls. The Punjab Congress in its regime in 2002-2007 had done nothing for the welfare of the public and there were scams in the tenure of Capt Amarinder Singh.

How foolishly the Punjab legislator has been trying to befool the people. He thought that he would impress the public, but everyone knows about him.

Punjab Congress wakes up, now Dalit leaders to get key roles

pic 2

When the assembly elections in Punjab are approaching, the Punjab Congress suddenly realised the Dalit leaders of the party and to woo the workers along with their supporters; the party has decided to give key posts to Dalit leaders.

The Punjab Congress has decided to assign important roles to its Dalit leaders.

The AICC after formally deciding upon the names would assign them important roles in the organisation set-up and the election campaign so that the party could weave in the Dalit vote bank.

Besides, the issue of equal ticket sharing among the Dalits – comprising both Ravidassia and Valmiki communities – has divided the community leaders. Dalits, who make up almost one-third of the Punjab’s population, have not been able to emerge as a political force in the party as they are politically divided.

The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee head, Amarinder Singh had come out with a stunt to woo the Dalit voters. He had convinced the party high command for the elevation of Dalit legislator Charanjit Singh Channi as Leader of Opposition despite ignoring the fact that Channel is a political greenhorn.

Then the former Chief Minister of Punjab, Amarinder Singh brought the singer turned a politician, Hans Raj Hans into the party fold by offering him the post of Rajya Sabha MP. However, the AICC dropped the name of Hans at the eleventh hour.

It is evident that the Punjab state has maximum populations of Dalits so the party has been working hard to leave no stone unturned to please the Dalit leaders in the party.

Punjab Congress has always given priority to Jat Sikh leaders but now the party has suddenly realised the importance of Dalit voters and played cheap stunt to offer the key posts to Dalit leaders.

In the past, the party never gave priority to Dalit leaders since the 2007 assembly polls. The last Dalit president of PPCC was the incumbent Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Dullo.

Expelled Members: A New Trouble for Captain Amarinder Singh & Party

Everyone in Punjab knows about the growing “internal rifts” of the Congress party. Former deputy speaker Bir Devinder Singh and former MP, Jagmeet Singh Brar has been expelled out of the party for not following the party rules, doing anti-party activities, and indiscipline.

Jagmeet Singh Brar & his frustration for Amarinder

Even after getting expelled from the party, Jagmeet Singh Brar continued to speak against former CM, Captain Amarinder Singh and his family. He expressed his frustration towards Amarinder Singh through media and tweets. He was asked to stop these anti-party activities several times and both Prahsant Kishore and AICC general secretary in-charge of Punjab, Shakeel Ahmad, discussed the issue with him. However, getting no positive response from Brar, Congress party decided to expel him from the party “with an immediate effect.”

In a recent interview, Brar claimed to have all the data regarding Amarinder and his family’s Swiss bank accounts. He stated that Amarinder and family have about 860 Crore saved in Swiss bank accounts on the name of Jacaranda trust. He was sure about his claims, and the revelations of ED. He told the media that he would reveal all these details in brief on August 15, 2016. He said that the party has forgiven Amarinder Singh numerous times for his “sins” but this is high time that he has to stand up for his party. He also expressed his discontent on the matter of Khadoor Sahib bypoll, and Talwandi Sabo bypoll.

Bir Devinder Singh: Not happy with Aroosa & Amarinder’s affair

On the other hand, Bir Devinder lashed out at Amarinder Singh for his alleged affair with Aroosa Alam. He warned Amarinder Singh that if he does not leave Aroosa now, he would have to face the same kind of defeat again in the year 2017.

Hide and Seek of Clashes

Apart from this, main members of the party i.e. Charanjit Singh Channi, Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, Prashant Kishore and Captain Amarinder Singh, they all share “not so good” bond with each other. No matter how much they try to hide their “internal conflicts”, Punjabis very well know about the absence of unity and teamwork of Congress party.

Captain desperate to keep Congress’ Sinking ship afloat

Punjab electoral battle seems more interesting this time as a lot “unexpected” is happening. In this Tsunami of “hits and trials” and “sought out plans”, Congress has decided to follow the approach of “make hay while the sun shines”. But the problem here is to make sure if the sun is really shining or its just some temporary brightness that may seem shiny but is an illusion.

Golden Opportunity: Navjot Singh Sidhu
Let us clear this air by coming to the point. Two big “political tsunamis” that happened in the last week is resignation of Navjot Singh Sidhu from Rajya Sabha and suspension of Akali MLA Pargat Singh from BJP-SAD. Although Sidhu did not give any statement or cited any reason for his resignation; but Congress surely sees this act of him as a “golden opportunity”. Captain clearly welcomed Sidhu in the party and even reminded him of the “past times” when his father was a part of Congress party. Getting no response from Mr. Sidhu, the focus of Congress shifted to another “expelled member” i.e. Pargat Singh.

“Topic of Interest”: Pargat Singh
A meeting was held in Delhi to discuss the further plans and moves. As per the sources, a major part of this discussion involved the former Olympian. Asha Kumari, Capt Amarinder, Charanjit Channi, and Ambika Soni were present at the meeting. Pargat singh, however, showed no interest in this proposal of Captain Amarinder Singh.

Rat Race
Calling the “expelled or resigned” members in his party, other members of Congress were annoyed with Captain Amarinder Singh. Sources claim that some party members sent an e-mail to President Sonia Gandhi to complain about this “annoying behavior” of Amarinder Singh. “Competition threat” can be other reason of Congress party workers for not allowing “wild card entry” of any outsider in the semi-finals of this race.

The recent action of Captain Amarinder Singh clearly hints towards the uncertainty and immature plans of the party. It’s like Captain wants to take any risk to win after two defeats in Punjab.

Battle of Waters: SYL (Satluj Yamuna Link Canal

Punjab, land of five rivers (before partition), is well known as land of farmers as the main occupation here is agriculture. For purposes like irrigation and farming, Punjab needs more water than the other states.  Punjab was asked to share its river waters with the neighboring state, which created a battle of “YES” and “NO”, known as  SYL (Satluj Yamuna Link Canal) . Just like other issues, even this time Congress was not able to clear its stand. The “not so good bond” of congress party members was revealed. Their internal rift caused harm to the party again as everyone gave different opinions and statements on this issue.

syl1
Manpreet Badal

As per Manpreet Badal’s statement, Punjab should not share its river waters. He said that government should not allow neighboring state to take any waters from Punjab. His exact statement was “Punjab’s case is very strong; the only issue is to follow it up. If there is no water to spare, how can we give it to others?”

But here comes the twist, Captain Amarinder Singh and Charanjit Singh Channi did not give a “green signal” to Manpreet’s statement. The thought of Manpreet did not go well with the other two and they clearly showed their “no support” sign to him. But People were not so shocked as this was not the first time when Congress Party’s internal rift made headlines. It’s the fight of “EGO” of “ROYAL PEOPLE”.

SYL3
Captain Amarinder Singh

On the other hand, S. Prakash Singh Badal (CM Punjab SAD), was so sure about his decision. He cleared the air with his words that Punjab will not share its waters at any cost, (AT ANY COST). He never changed his stand in this regards.

Giani Jail Singh (Chief Minister, Punjab Congress), took the initiative in the year 1976, and the SYL canal digging ceremony happened in 1982, where Indira Gandhi was also present. During the rule of Congress, a tripartite was signed between Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.

syl2

SAD-BJP government in Punjab cleared its stand that Punjab will follow the Riparian principle and won’t share its waters at any cost, no matter how hard sacrifice they have to make to fight this battle.

True face of Congress has been revealed and People of Punjab know pretty well about the “selfish motives” of this party. This party has got enough reasons to ensure their “defeat” in the upcoming 2017 Punjab elections.

No Federal Ideology in Captain’s Congress!

From the recent elections in the nation, it has been found that people are voting for those parties having strong federal ideology. That is why in both Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, regional parties performed really well and the trend is likely to happen in Punjab where SAD-BJP is the strongest regional party.

The outcome of five latest assembly elections is the last rites of the Congress as the political party in the country. And the speculation is high on the Congress’s funeral would be in Punjab early next year. The election results have even broken the myth of anti-incumbency’s being an important concern. In Punjab, massive and holistic development has created a strong pro-incumbency instead.

CONGRESS 61

The way Congress party has been decimated it is becoming rock solid that the Akali-BJP alliance has a strong chance to score a hat-trick in Punjab in forthcoming elections.

The Punjab Congress, itself is responsible for such anticipations. Led by Captain Amarinder Singh who is always been in limelight for his arrogant behavior, the Punjab Congress loses all the hopes. It is totally failed to woo the vote bank in the state instead the leaders in the unit verdicts the same. Rising indiscipline, internal rifts and dominating Captain’s attitude make the party’s situation quite miserable.

486268459.jpg

The party which is not united itself how it can manage the entire Punjab wholeheartedly. People viewed that Amarinder Singh can even ditch anyone for his own personal benefits. The incumbent President of Punjab can go any measures to reach his own selfish gains.

It is known to everyone that the former PM Rajiv Gandhi had helped Amarinder to enter in Indian National Congress as they both were class fellows. But after the Operation Blue Star and gaining the political momentum, Captain Amarinder had ditched his class mate and left the Congress party with his resignation for Parliament.

He joined SAD in 1984 and left the same in 1992 to form his own political party which was badly defeated. Then finally he begged AICC President Sonia Gandhi and returned to his old party in 1998. So, it clearly shows the dual face of Amarinder Singh!!

Senior panel gave a miss to PPCC Meet!

Punjab Congress Committee never misses a chance to make a headline. This is all revealed that nothing is going smooth in the Captain’s team. And it is once again witnessed at a recently held meeting at Chandigarh where all the top slot players of the Punjab Congress committee decide to give it a miss.

The first-ever meeting of the newly constituted PPCC meant for interaction between the top leadership and members of the apex body saw various big wigs of the team giving it a miss.

201
Amarinder loyalists got upset

Those who doesn’t made it to the meeting were Pratap Bajwa, Shamsher Singh Dullo, Mohinder Kaypee, Sunil Jakhar, Sukhjinder Randhawa, Parminder Singh Pinki, Charanjit Singh Channi, Sukhjinder Raj Lali Majithia, Navtej Cheema and many more.  The reason for absentees was cited personal issues or commitments. But sources told a different tale that they preferred to stay away as they were peeved off at the way they had been placed in the new set up.

Turning down the issue, the Chief of PPCC Captain Amarinder Singh opted to choose the occasion to uplift the morale of those present. He talked about the recent and poor performance of Aam Aadmi party at Delhi municipal by-elections. He quoted, “Now the army of Congress is in place and our victory is sure.” The AAP has already lost in Punjab with a vertical division between the four MPs.

Meanwhile, Ambika Soni, Chairperson of the PPCC and State In-Charge Shakeel Ahmad asked the newly appointed office bearers to take up the charge and get along everyone to mark a victory in Punjab.

Also, putting all speculations to rest, Captain Amarinder Singh and party strategist Prashant Kishore found sharing camaraderie. Though Prashant was seated behind Captain, indicating the role being defined by the top panel only!

Captain Amarinder off to USA & Canada as the weather heats up in India!

As the several parts in India soar high in heat, our carefree captain Amarinder Singh escapes to USA & Canada. Named as political tour, it aims to woo the NRIs for the forthcoming Assembly elections to be held in 2017 and for obvious reasons to beat the heat back in India.

CONGRESS 125

The Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh aims at encountering the AAP’s (AamAadmi Party’s) influence on NRIs and garnering the Punjabi’s support for the Congress. Embarked on his 18-day tour he is accompanied with a host of party leaders including Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans and Vikramjit Chaudhary (Punjab Youth Congress Chief).

Amarinder’s wife and Congress MLA Preneet Kaur soon would return from her New Zealand- Australia tour and then would undertake a tour to Germany, UK and Italy.

So the entire Maharaja Amarinder Singh’s family is on an international tour. They chose the best time to fly away from India when common man back in the state is suffering high due to soaring mercury. It shows how much people-oriented the Congress team is!!

Also, some are of viewed that during the recent visit by Rahul Gandhi to Punjab, he didn’t name Captain Amarinder Singh as the purported Chief Minister of Punjab and out of this outrage, he flown away to USA.

Untitled353
Amarinder Singh’s wife Praneet Kaur & Son Raninder Singh under radar

The point is no matter how disastrous the Congress performs, the top slot doesn’t change. Both Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are on the top. Thus no real change ever occurs.  When Punjab got rid of Amarinder, tainted with scams, he bad mouthed Rahul Gandhi. But to everyone’s surprise he is back in power.Though his name is still pending to be announced officially for Congress in Punjab!

The rising infighting and indiscipline in the Congress has already shaken up the foundation of the party. It clears the fact that this party is running around as headless chook.

Such thug politicians forgot that NRIs left their motherland to save themselves the political hooligans. They can’t achieve their cheesy aims while sowing the seeds of division among the foreign diaspora and damaging their peace.

Captain Amarinder is been trolled the most on social media platforms because of his own awful antics, thoughts and actions. People of Punjab have gradually lost trust on him and his ambitions to uplift the state. His efforts to garner vote in Punjab would bring him success or not, is the fact still in doubts!

Absenteeism of Congress legislators in Punjab assembly

Cong MLAs

Congress scolded the MLAs for the thin strength during budget session

The seriousness of the Congress legislators in Punjab assembly during budget session shown by their thin strength as majority of the legislators were not present during the budget session in assembly.

As per the information, the Congress legislators afforded to miss the session and absenteeism was visible especially during the budget session when the issue of SYL took the centre stage.

Party leadership scolded legislators

Taking a serious note of the thin strength of Congress legislators during the budget session in the Assembly, the party leadership had issued a whip to all party MLAs to be present in the House on March 21 and 22.

Ever since the Assembly session began, few Congress MLAs have been present, especially during Channi’s speech on the SYL issue and during the Budget discussion. Interestingly, Channi was targeted by the treasury benches after his speech on the Budget discussion; just four Congress MLAs were present.

Only four Congress legislators when bills were cleared by Vidhan Sabha

As per the information, the legislators had started leaving the house especially in zero hour. When the cleared bills came up for discussion, there were only two legislators; Tarlochan Singh Soond and Ashwani Sekhri were present. After few minutes leader of opposition Charanjit Singh Channi and Bharat Bhushan Ashu joined them.

PPCC Chief had to intervene for ensuring the strength of MLAs in assembly

Amarinder

The matter was highlighted to the party chief and the incumbent PPCC Chief Amarinder Singh had took the serious note on the thin strength of the legislators. He issued the whip to the legislators and himself visited the assembly on March 21 where he taught the legislators to maintain the decorum in the session by proper strength especially during the important sessions.

High drama created by Punjab Congress MLAs on Thursday

pic 2

Punjab Congress legislators violates the rules

The Congress party legislators of Punjab assembly have not left any stone unturned to violate the norms of the assembly on Thursday. As per the information, the Indian National Lok Dal legislators of Haryana started marching towards the Punjab assembly and tried to enter in the assembly through main gate. The march was led by the leader of opposition, Abhay Singh Chautala. However, the MLA’s were stopped by the security at the main entrance.

Congress legislators en cashed the chance, confronted INLD MLA’s

The legislators of the Congress party who were looking for a chance to divert the SYL issue got a nod from the leader of opposition, Charanjit Singh Channi and girded up their loins for confronting INLD MLAs. As per the information, ten Congress legislators under the leadership of Channi marched towards the Haryana assembly. The Congress legislators shouted slogans at the main entrance of Haryana assembly saying that no single drop of water would be given to Haryana.

INLD breaches the rules, Congress did not lag behind

pic 1

The legislators of INLD had already violated the rules and tried to enter in the Punjab assembly. But, the same thing was done by Congress legislators who depicted their indiscipline at that time. When the matter of SYL was heated up, the Congress legislators’ en cashed the time and did the same thing done by the opposition party of Haryana.

Channi always get ready to disturb the assembly

The legislators of INLD were stopped at the main entrance of the Punjab assembly by the security staff. However, the leader of opposition in Punjab assembly, Charanjit Singh Channi instigated its party legislators to march towards the Haryana assembly. It was evident that the immature leader of opposition of Congress party , Channi has nothing to do logical in the assembly as he always ready for disturbing the assembly session.
