When a big tree falls

It’s November, the month of the largest massacre that happened in Punjab, i.e. Sikh Genocide 1984. During this month in the year 1984, a mass killing of Sikhs was planned and executed by the grand old party Congress as a revenge of assassination of Indira Gandhi.

What exactly happened?
In the year 1984, Indira Gandhi planned an attack on the holy shrine of Sikhs, Golden Temple Amritsar, which was unacceptable by the Sikhs at any cost. Many Sikhs were killed during the attack and religious sentiments of Sikhs were badly hurt. So, two Sikh bodyguards of then prime minister, Indira Gandhi killed her as they were fed up of her dictatorship rule and her discrimination towards Sikh community.

After her murder, Rajiv Gandhi, Jagdish Tytler & Sajjan Kumar of Congress party planned a revenge which involved mass killing of Sikhs in the National Capital, Delhi. Over the next few days, thousand of Sikhs were killed in fully systematic planned riots, which were led by Congress activists & leaders. The killings were so brutal that burning tires were used to kill the Sikh men in the broader daylight and Congress leaders provided the voting lists to the mobs to identify Sikh families.
The then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, allegedly made a statement justifying the killings, “When a big tree falls, the earth is bound to shake” and there was no apology from the Congress party.
Till now no culprits have been punished and Congress is trying to save them using the “political power”.
Punjab Congress rubs the salt on the wounds of Sikhs
Declaring Indira Gandhi martyrdom has already initiated the hate war for Congress party in the Punjab. Congress leader Raja Warring’s image wearing a t-shirt with a message “Maa Tujhe Salaam” to pay the homage to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her martyrdom day is doing the rounds on social media is more than enough to add fuel to the fire.

All we want to say to Captain and Congress party is that don’t forget the humanity for the sake of getting political power & position.

Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, an anti-Sikh Congressman

waring two

The legislator from Gidderbaha constituency Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has proved his anti-Sikh mentality as he was wearing a tea shirt having the picture of Indira Gandhi.

Warring was in Delhi to observe the death anniversary of Indira Gandhi and he was showing his sympathy for the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The anti-Sikh riots started after the death of Indira in which thousands of innocent Sikhs were burnt alive by the Congress leaders.

Indira Gandhi had given the green signal for the operation Blue Star. And the anti-Sikh riots were already planned by the Congress before the death of Indira Gandhi. An article in the Caravan magazine had unearthed the fact that the riots were already planned.

A former official in Delhi had given his interview to the magazine in which he revealed that Congress had already prepared the voter lists of the Sikhs and everything was pre planned.

The Congress party has anti-Sikh ideology and Amarinder Singh Raja Warring who claims himself the well-wisher of the Sikhs was pleasing the Gandhi family in Delhi on the death anniversary of Indira Gandhi.

Warring’s entry in the Congress party was not so easy but with the flattering skills he managed to make entry in politics. The clever young Congress leader had driven the car of senior Congress leader and former MP Jagmeet Brar as he did not miss the chance to enter in the politics.

The over ambitious Warring had used Brar as his political mentor and even polished his shoes also. So, whenever he finds any opportunity he grabs it. He is close to Rahul Gandhi and that’s why playing all tricks to woo his bosses.

It is proved that Warring has anti-Sikh mentality and he should be ashamed himself for performing such cheap stunts to woo the Gandhi’s. He is the biggest enemy of the Sikhs.

Congress hides anti sikh face with Manmohan

Trying every possible course of action to mark a victory in the upcoming Punjab polls; Congress has planned to make Prime Minister Manmohan Singh the star campaigner of the party. Highly respected for his down to earth personality, Dr. Singh can give a push to the party’s campaigning being a Sikh face.

1

Prashant Kishore, the strategist of Congress Punjab and the team is working tirelessly to prevent the defeat for the third time.

If we talk about this strategy of Punjab Congress, it seems as if this party is trying to hide its anti-Sikh face by taking help of Sardar Manmohan Singh. But Mr. Kishore should keep in mind that appointment of Manmohan Singh in Punjab as star campaigner will not be helpful as Punjabis can never forget the cruel face of this party.

From 1955 to 1984, Congress committed many atrocities on Sikh community. The injustice that has done to the Sikhs is not an incident to be forgotten so easily, it reminds of the times when Congress showed no mercy towards the innocent souls of Punjab. Attacks, violence, killings, religious sacrilege, what’s that Congress has not done to destroy Punjab and its people.

One fair advice to Mr. Kishore, learn about the history before you think such plans would work in favor of Congress party.

Congress MLA Charanjit Singh Channi gets accused!

There is no stop to Congress troubles in Punjab. Every day new stories appear against the party and Congress men.The Congress MLA from Chamkaur Sahib Constituency, Charanjit Singh Channi gets accused of doing nothing for his constituency’s improvement after winning the elections. His promises fall flat and fake which he made during his election campaigns.

He had distributed sewing machines to the women of the town stating that women empowerment must be encouraged, every lady should be made self-independent and have the ability to raise their children.  But in actual nothing comes in practical and not a single women employment scheme been introduced in his jurisdiction that irked the people who voted for him. It’s been more than nine years, he is serving as the MLA of Shri Chamkaur Sahib and nothing achieved by him yet for the turf. Public wants to know what he has done to facelift the standards of the area.

Several persons from his constituency namely Rupinder Singh Roopa, Gurmail Singh Bara, Sukhjit Singh, SudipVij, Manjeet Singh came forward and asked Charanjit Singh Channi through media that what he has done to eradicate spreading drug addiction among the youth of the area. They even accused Charanjit of distributing alcohol during his election campaigns.Charanjit is blamed to step up his area before six months of the elections and once he wins, he doesn’t show his face for next four years. He uses fraudulent practices to entice the vote bank. The public in the area is furious about his performance and needs his speedy response on their queries. No statement has been made by Charanjit Singh Channi addressing the issue yet. Punjab Congress is already facing tough times and this recent issue adds to their woes.

Anti Sikh Congress, trying to disrupt peace in Punjab

“Congress has a long history of disrupting peace and harmony in state and for scoring political points and in the run-up to assembly election in Punjab, Congress is siding with Sikh hardliners to gain on vote bank. Power hungry Congress is not afraid of indulging in dangerous game of playing with fire in Punjab.”

Being a border state, Punjab is highly sensitive and volatile in nature insurgency had affected the state for more than a decade. Any move by a political party to compromise with the social and peaceful fabric of Punjab to gain political benefits can prove to be extremely dangerous. From siding with Sikh hardliners for political gains to raking up raking up controversial issues an hurting Sikh sentiment, Congress is doing all it takes to make a mark in upcoming assembly polls scheduled early next year.

Siding with Sikh extremist

main-qimg-8f0b689f95059554f0d7899c164428a1.jpg

Congress has a long history of supporting Sikh extremist element in Punjab. It is pertinent to note here that Congress party was responsible for inventing Bhindrawale, and transforming him from a saint to a Sikh militant. Bhindrawale later went up against the state and the party, which had nurtured him. People of Punjab had to pay a huge price in wake of their personal animosity between Bhindrawale and Congress leadership.

Now congress has been playing with fire by fuelling the extremist element in state. The party was behind the recently held ‘Sarbat Khalsa’, a Sikh Congregation, which was apparently a Khalistani platform. It is worth mentioning here that Congress leaders were not only present at the congregation but they were instrumental in framing of resolutions passed at ‘Sarbat Khalsa’, which included demand for a Khalistan state.

A large number of Congress leaders are endorsing the views of extremist elements and it is now a known fact that Sikh hardliners are either joining the party ranks or are endorsing the views and vice a versa.

Militancy in Punjab was one of the darkest periods in Punjab’s history and Punjab had to pay a huge price in wake of bloodbath. Extremist elements are slowly reviving in Punjab and Congress is now trying to ignite it for political gains.

Punjab Congress to Get Zero Votes, Says Kejriwal

Punjab is roaring high in amidst of upcoming Assembly Elections due early next year. The ruling and the opposition parties are all geared up to grab the power in the state. Everyday rallies, events, meetings, new promises, commitments, growth prospects, development programs, plans are echoed through the loudspeakers by the political bigwigs.

Also, how could we forget the allegation part!! Oppositions leaving no stone unturned in blaming the ruling party. Despite quoting their own progressive agendas for Punjab, they find it easy to pin-point others.

201

Recently, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal while addressing an event on Thursday quoted, “The Congress will meet the same fate in Punjab as in Delhi. ”

He simply kicked out Congress from the race but he forgot the level of uncertainty hovering over these elections. He even added that the Congress will meet the same destiny in Punjab as in Delhi.

Kejriwal’s speech is focused on the success of the AAP govt. in Delhi. He said, “If elections are held again in Delhi now, we will even win the three remaining seats too (AAP had won 67 seats in Delhi assembly out of total 70).”

Arvind Kejriwal always sounds over confident but his accusation against Congress was certainly not the wrong. Punjab Congress head by Captain Amarinder Singh has brought nothing to Punjab’s fortune. They bought only scams, frauds, money embezzlements and manipulations.

We will win this much seats

His leader Captain Amarinder always hit the headlines with his strange politicking strategies. Even his own party people don’t support him and his tactics. He created a rift in the party with his dictatorship attitude. Currently, he is on his political tour to USA and Canada. Though Canada govt. bars him to conduct any kind of rally in the nation!

The Punjab has turned into an electoral battle ground. So many happenings in the state pull everyone’s attention. This is going to be really interesting to know who is going to rule next in Punjab. Three strong parties viz. Congress, AAP and SAD-BJP alliance are there to play the perfect oppositions. The people of Punjab are perplexed to choose the best for the state because at the end its growth, development and prosperity that matters!

So dear Punjabis, have a happy voting experience!

Punjab Congress struggle hard as Assembly Elections near Approaches

Alleged as the main challenger in the forthcoming Assembly Elections 2017 in Punjab, the Congress party is gearing hard to develop a constructive vote bank. The poll elections are less than a year away now, the unit of Punjab Congress party has been striving to turn the tide in its favor. But rather to moving towards progress, it seems to head on a self-destruction way.

The Congress’ chances turn out to be fading in the assembly elections due to the increasing in-fighting in the party. The ministers and members of the unit failed to share a cordial relationship. It has been discovered in the recent rallies and meetings held by Punjab congress in different parts of the state in view to share the party plans with its members or supporters.

The Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh himself was ashamed on finding such nuisance and lack of trust among the party members itself. He tried to pacify the environment but no one bothered to pay any heed to him. Such incidents would definitely bring them no win. The tension grips the Congress people.

ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS IN PUNJABWhile the opposition parties take full advantage of the situation and leaving no chance to deface the congress party. Even the appointment of Prashant Kishore, a famous poll election strategist, is not able to unite the team as whole. While trying to give a political makeover to Punjab Congress chief, his own reputation is at stake in the state.

The appointment of Amarinder Singh as state chief by Rahul Gandhi (Vice President, Congress) is not welcomed by every member of the party. Rahul failed to please the disgruntled sections of the party. Next, in an effort to bring balance in PPCC (Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee), Rahul Gandhi put Ambika Soni (former Union Minister) as in charge of Election Campaign Committee. Again this move did not go well with Amarinder Singh.

The situation goes haywire when party leaders started raising petty issues relating to own constituency. The lack of trust and unity ensue the congress unit. A team which is not able to ally its own people than how could it be able to bind the entire Punjab?is a question to ponder upon.

In short, the Punjab Congress has been hurtling from one crisis to another and its leaders are voicing our differently.

Captain followed Modi; hire Kishor as his key election strategist

Game of elections in today’s world of politics can also be taken as ‘business’, where Political consultants besides, electioneering, advise politicians through their five-year term.

CONGRESS 107

  • Captain imitating Modi
  1. Narendra Modi’s key campaign expert Prashant Kishor is going to handle Punjab Congress upcoming election.
  2. Kishor was the man behind Modi’s much-talked “Chai Pe Charcha” campaign in 2014.
  3. Not just Congress, another political party in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party is hiring private political consultants too.

It is very well said that Imitation is indeed the best form of flattery. Former Chief Minister and PPCC President Captain Amarinder Singh is emulating the professional electioneering and social media hype used by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2014 for the upcoming 2017 Punjab assembly elections.

Despite of critics saying social media is no substitute for politics and direct contact with voters, numbers of politicians across the Nation are convinced that they need to use social media and benefit from the advice of tech- savvy political consultant if they want to succeed in Political battle.

Prashant Kishor was a former health specialist with the United Nations, who had helped Modi through his hyper-efficient social media campaign.

Kishor, who had also branded the Gujarat model of development, will now sell Captain’s Punjab model after “Coffee with Captain” campaign in Punjab.

It has been widely observed that the services offered by any political consultancy do not only confine to electioneering but they also include ground-level surveys to assess the mood of the voters, drafting manifestos, and even writing speeches for the leaders. Most of the companies or individual strategist, once hired, often works on issues of governance with candidates throughout their five-year term.

Though social media strategy is broadly considered to be a smart and cost-effective way of reaching out to a large number of tech-savvy voters, and is always on the top of the strategists’ list. Even then, it does not ensure party’s win or defeat.

It would not be wrong to say that ultimately, it is party’s politics that matters. So, Captain in Punjab, who is following Modi’s footstep by hiring Kishor, should stop behaving in autocratic manner and Congress should speak in single tone, like BJP.

Infighting within Punjab Congress still on

“After Bir Devinder, it’s time for the former Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President, Partap Singh Bajwa to target Captain Amarinder Singh and his “autocratic” behavior”

captain bajwa rift

Earlier, former Deputy Speaker, Bir Devinder Singh got suspended by PPCC President Captain Amarinder Singh because of a write up spat between the duos. On his suspension, Bir said, “I do not know I have been suspended. If I have been suspended then I can say that Amarinder would have put his sagacity and wisdom at stake while deciding action against me. As my vocal chords had dried up when I canvassed for him in Amritsar, I am sure he would have been pained by this decision. Captain has taken a destructive path and has been destroying himself as well as the party in Punjab.”

Bajwa accused Captain
In a row, after Bir Devinder, now Bajwa is accusing Captain for his oppressive behavior, while he visited Jallandhar with his group leaders and workers for the rally which was being organized by Captain. They were simply ignored by Captain and his team and were not allowed to speak in the rally. Not even a single microphone was given to Bajwa group of leaders in such huge rally.

Not only this, but Captain made fun of Bajwa, saying, “Bajwa is now out of Punjab politics and I am the wholly solely Incharge in Punjab.”

bajwa Captain

Arrogant Captain
This arrogant attitude of Captain had showed publicly that there is lack of respect and unity between Congress leaders. It would not be wrong to say that the party is divided in the state.

Agitated Bajwa and his group of leaders have decided to brainstorm against Captain for his egoistic and high headed attitude. On the 24th of April, there would be a function by Bajwa group to celebrate the Bajwa’s entry in Rajya Sabha, where they would teach Captain a lesson on clean Politics.

Noticeably, Bajwa group did not welcome Captain’s decision of nominating a new comer Hans Raj Hans for Rajya Sabha seat.

With this kind of leadership, the day is not far when Congress would lose its existence in Punjab.

After AAP; it’s now Congress to woo voters

“It would not be wrong to say that the grand old party of the country, Congress is following the footsteps of AAP in Punjab”

1

After Aam Aadmi Party’s much hyped “lunch” and “dinner” polity, Congress has launched “Coffee with Captain” campaign in state, where Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President, Captain Amarinder Singh hosts coffee parties for select audience.

It is a known fact that it was Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that had started organizing paid meals with political leader as a part of its cheap frolics to be in media and social media. And now when the state is heading towards 2017 assembly polls; Punjab Congress is also going the AAP way of despicable politics.

The only difference between the two is that AAP’s lunches and dinners are aimed at raising funds for the party and its leaders; Captain’s coffee party was held free of cost for a select audience.

But, as it was launch of Campaign, more than 500 people had gathered at a local park to attend the event, where youth raised questions on Captain’s plans to provide them with jobs if he formed government in the state.

Noticeably, it was Prashant Kishore who had extolled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s past as “Tea-seller” and turned it into a generic outreach with ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ campaign. The same Prashant Kishore has now picked up coffee to promote Captain Amarinder Singh’s electioneering. He has been appointed as the Congress’ poll strategist for Punjab assembly polls and also possesses Indian Political Awareness Committee (IPAC).

It is worth mentioning here that Captain, who comes from the ‘Royal family’ of Patiala, has often come under lot of criticism for his inaccessibility.

An official Facebook page ‘Punjab Da Captain’ has been created especially where the quiz, ‘8 Baj Gaye Kya’ is uploaded at 8 pm every day. Congress has been offering Rs 1,500-worth Flipkart vouchers every day to those who answer correctly and even for those who answer incorrectly as a “bribe”.

“Coffee with Captain” campaign is more or less being billed as an exercise to woo urban voters which are largely divided between the BJP and the Congress in cities like Amritsar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar.

At the end, fact remains that despite of ridiculing Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi, all these politicians want to copy him. A day is not far when other leaders across nation would be copying him too 🙂
