Reality check on Congress performance in midst of pre -poll surveys

T.V channels are all set with their assumptions, facts, and theories about the results of upcoming poll results? And the recent addition is the survey of India Today Group. As per their opinion poll, Congress is going to mark a victory next year. Their poll made a projection that Captain Amarinder Singh is emerging as one of the popular chief minister candidates in Punjab.

Maybe, PPCC President tried to “use” the “media” for the self-praise but totally at the wrong time. As we all know, this is the era of technology and we have all the proofs of India Today’s fake surveys and “self-created” results, which claimed the victory of Congress in the year 2012 also and we all know the actual results.

What’s the reality?

Keeping these “paid” results aside, what’s the real scenario of Punjab? Congress’ has gained all the popularity due to the “infighting” and “violence” created by its members. Here are some headlines:

 

• Youth congress secretary got arrested in Ludhiana for violence and 37 more members were booked on the same charge.
• Members of Congress, Bittu and Ashu are booked under kidnapping and attempt to murder cases.
• Congress leader shot a nephew of political leader
• Captain Amarinder Singh chooses Politics over Nation’s security
• Rahul Gandhi slammed over “Dalali” statement
• Congress aspirants to boycott party interview

Looking at the point given above, it is quite hard to imagine that Captain is getting “popular” and Congress is ready to mark a “victory”.

Suggestion to Captain:

So, we have come up with some suggestions for the captain. It’s better to face the reality than to hide it behind the “paid media results”. You should focus on solving the issues with your own party members, and teach them some lessons on “Teamwork” and “Unity”. Tell your youth members to stop misusing their political powers. Last but not the least, before publishing such “poll results”, save your own “CM Seat” because Sidhu is all set to replace you.

Are politicians above the law?

“An SUV in Mukatsar ran over a 10 year old boy crushing him to death in front of large number of people and no one including victim’s family wants to file a complaint.”

Why No Complaint?
Don’t they feel like guilty person should be punished? Don’t they think that any action or incident, which causes a criminal offence, is liable for legal action? Above all, don’t they think that a 10 year old innocent boy should get justice? If they do feel so, then what is stopping them to go to police and file a complaint so that guilty should get punishment for this inhuman act? Simple reason is that the car is owned by a “friend” of National Youth Congress President “Raja Warring”.

Raja Warring’s involvement in the case
Resident of Doda village, Gurkanwal Singh, a 10 year old boy was coming out from a barber’s shop after getting a haircut and a SUV hit him. Little did the boy know that it would be his last haircut as the accident took his life. Gurkanwal was taken to hospital where the doctors declared him dead. The car is owned by Happy Sharma (close friend of Raja Warring), but the local residents indentify the car as “Raja Warring’s” personal car because most of the time it’s Warring who drives it.

Threatened or Pressurized?
Dharminder Singh, father of victim filed no complaint and also denied for the postmortem of his son’s body. In charge of Doda police station said that they had registered no complaint, as victim’s family didn’t want to do so.

Influence of power overshadows Humanity
It is so sad to realize that we are living in such a world where people like “Raja Warring” use their “political power” and “money” to suppress the voice of downtrodden and prevent truth from coming to light. It’s high time when we should speak out and fight for rights to put people like Raja Warring and his driver behind the bars.

Nirvan Singh, another example of dynasty politics in Punjab Congress

The Punjab Congress has been denying the facts of dynasty politics in the party since long but truth can never be extinguished. Amarinder Singh, head of Punjab Congress boldly denied the allegation of dynasty politics and facts say something different. Amarinder Singh, his wife Preneet Kaur who is sitting legislator and former parliamentarian and son Raninder fought election from Lok Sabha seat of Bhatinda. For Amarinder, this is not dynasty politics in Punjab Congress.

Punjab Congress has exposed in front of the people over the issue of dynasty politics as the entire family is at the party and both husband wife enjoying prestigious positions in the party. But, for Amarinder Singh, this is not dynasty politics.

A new face is being emerged in Punjab Congress and he is Nirvan Singh. The younger son of Amarinder’s daughter Jai InderKaur, Nirvan has returned from the UK after completed his post-graduation.

Nirvan Singh has been taking care of his maternal grandfather’s campaigns and he is also actively participating in social media. Amarinder has assigned the task of Nirvan’s training to his poll strategist Prashant Kishore.

Kishore has been taking Nirvan to different places so that he could be acquainted with the activities of the party as well as with the party cadre. However, Amarinder has not formally announced Nirvan’s name in the party but the sources in the party revealed that he would be given prominent position in the party.

Earlier, Amarinder took a u-turn on dynasty politics. He told the media that his son Raninder was no longer interested in politics so, there was no question of dynasty politics. Moreover, he had announced that the loyal party worker would be the replacement of Raninder.

The sources in the party said that Amarinder was scared after the Raninder exit as earlier his brother left the Congress so Nirvan was the only hope of Amarinder. He kept on insisting Nirvan to enter the political arena. Nirvan had planned to set up his consultancy in the UK but he dropped the idea to join his maternal grandfather.

Even Nirvanadmitted media that he has been helping his maternal granddad and handling his Twitter and Facebook account so that the reach with in the masses could be increased.

If this is not the definition of dynasty politics for Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Amarinder Singh then there must be another word for the proper definition. However, one this is being cleared that the tradition of family politics still continues in Punjab Congress. The political family of Congress party in Punjab don’t want the reins of the party in other hands.

Senior panel gave a miss to PPCC Meet!

Punjab Congress Committee never misses a chance to make a headline. This is all revealed that nothing is going smooth in the Captain’s team. And it is once again witnessed at a recently held meeting at Chandigarh where all the top slot players of the Punjab Congress committee decide to give it a miss.

The first-ever meeting of the newly constituted PPCC meant for interaction between the top leadership and members of the apex body saw various big wigs of the team giving it a miss.

Amarinder loyalists got upset

Those who doesn’t made it to the meeting were Pratap Bajwa, Shamsher Singh Dullo, Mohinder Kaypee, Sunil Jakhar, Sukhjinder Randhawa, Parminder Singh Pinki, Charanjit Singh Channi, Sukhjinder Raj Lali Majithia, Navtej Cheema and many more.  The reason for absentees was cited personal issues or commitments. But sources told a different tale that they preferred to stay away as they were peeved off at the way they had been placed in the new set up.

Turning down the issue, the Chief of PPCC Captain Amarinder Singh opted to choose the occasion to uplift the morale of those present. He talked about the recent and poor performance of Aam Aadmi party at Delhi municipal by-elections. He quoted, “Now the army of Congress is in place and our victory is sure.” The AAP has already lost in Punjab with a vertical division between the four MPs.

Meanwhile, Ambika Soni, Chairperson of the PPCC and State In-Charge Shakeel Ahmad asked the newly appointed office bearers to take up the charge and get along everyone to mark a victory in Punjab.

Also, putting all speculations to rest, Captain Amarinder Singh and party strategist Prashant Kishore found sharing camaraderie. Though Prashant was seated behind Captain, indicating the role being defined by the top panel only!

Punjab Congress to Get Zero Votes, Says Kejriwal

Punjab is roaring high in amidst of upcoming Assembly Elections due early next year. The ruling and the opposition parties are all geared up to grab the power in the state. Everyday rallies, events, meetings, new promises, commitments, growth prospects, development programs, plans are echoed through the loudspeakers by the political bigwigs.

Also, how could we forget the allegation part!! Oppositions leaving no stone unturned in blaming the ruling party. Despite quoting their own progressive agendas for Punjab, they find it easy to pin-point others.

Recently, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal while addressing an event on Thursday quoted, “The Congress will meet the same fate in Punjab as in Delhi. ”

He simply kicked out Congress from the race but he forgot the level of uncertainty hovering over these elections. He even added that the Congress will meet the same destiny in Punjab as in Delhi.

Kejriwal’s speech is focused on the success of the AAP govt. in Delhi. He said, “If elections are held again in Delhi now, we will even win the three remaining seats too (AAP had won 67 seats in Delhi assembly out of total 70).”

Arvind Kejriwal always sounds over confident but his accusation against Congress was certainly not the wrong. Punjab Congress head by Captain Amarinder Singh has brought nothing to Punjab’s fortune. They bought only scams, frauds, money embezzlements and manipulations.

We will win this much seats

His leader Captain Amarinder always hit the headlines with his strange politicking strategies. Even his own party people don’t support him and his tactics. He created a rift in the party with his dictatorship attitude. Currently, he is on his political tour to USA and Canada. Though Canada govt. bars him to conduct any kind of rally in the nation!

The Punjab has turned into an electoral battle ground. So many happenings in the state pull everyone’s attention. This is going to be really interesting to know who is going to rule next in Punjab. Three strong parties viz. Congress, AAP and SAD-BJP alliance are there to play the perfect oppositions. The people of Punjab are perplexed to choose the best for the state because at the end its growth, development and prosperity that matters!

Captain Amarinder off to USA & Canada as the weather heats up in India!

As the several parts in India soar high in heat, our carefree captain Amarinder Singh escapes to USA & Canada. Named as political tour, it aims to woo the NRIs for the forthcoming Assembly elections to be held in 2017 and for obvious reasons to beat the heat back in India.

The Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh aims at encountering the AAP’s (AamAadmi Party’s) influence on NRIs and garnering the Punjabi’s support for the Congress. Embarked on his 18-day tour he is accompanied with a host of party leaders including Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans and Vikramjit Chaudhary (Punjab Youth Congress Chief).

Amarinder’s wife and Congress MLA Preneet Kaur soon would return from her New Zealand- Australia tour and then would undertake a tour to Germany, UK and Italy.

So the entire Maharaja Amarinder Singh’s family is on an international tour. They chose the best time to fly away from India when common man back in the state is suffering high due to soaring mercury. It shows how much people-oriented the Congress team is!!

Also, some are of viewed that during the recent visit by Rahul Gandhi to Punjab, he didn’t name Captain Amarinder Singh as the purported Chief Minister of Punjab and out of this outrage, he flown away to USA.

The point is no matter how disastrous the Congress performs, the top slot doesn’t change. Both Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are on the top. Thus no real change ever occurs.  When Punjab got rid of Amarinder, tainted with scams, he bad mouthed Rahul Gandhi. But to everyone’s surprise he is back in power.Though his name is still pending to be announced officially for Congress in Punjab!

The rising infighting and indiscipline in the Congress has already shaken up the foundation of the party. It clears the fact that this party is running around as headless chook.

Such thug politicians forgot that NRIs left their motherland to save themselves the political hooligans. They can’t achieve their cheesy aims while sowing the seeds of division among the foreign diaspora and damaging their peace.

Captain Amarinder is been trolled the most on social media platforms because of his own awful antics, thoughts and actions. People of Punjab have gradually lost trust on him and his ambitions to uplift the state. His efforts to garner vote in Punjab would bring him success or not, is the fact still in doubts!

Punjab Congress struggle hard as Assembly Elections near Approaches

Alleged as the main challenger in the forthcoming Assembly Elections 2017 in Punjab, the Congress party is gearing hard to develop a constructive vote bank. The poll elections are less than a year away now, the unit of Punjab Congress party has been striving to turn the tide in its favor. But rather to moving towards progress, it seems to head on a self-destruction way.

The Congress’ chances turn out to be fading in the assembly elections due to the increasing in-fighting in the party. The ministers and members of the unit failed to share a cordial relationship. It has been discovered in the recent rallies and meetings held by Punjab congress in different parts of the state in view to share the party plans with its members or supporters.

The Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh himself was ashamed on finding such nuisance and lack of trust among the party members itself. He tried to pacify the environment but no one bothered to pay any heed to him. Such incidents would definitely bring them no win. The tension grips the Congress people.

While the opposition parties take full advantage of the situation and leaving no chance to deface the congress party. Even the appointment of Prashant Kishore, a famous poll election strategist, is not able to unite the team as whole. While trying to give a political makeover to Punjab Congress chief, his own reputation is at stake in the state.

The appointment of Amarinder Singh as state chief by Rahul Gandhi (Vice President, Congress) is not welcomed by every member of the party. Rahul failed to please the disgruntled sections of the party. Next, in an effort to bring balance in PPCC (Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee), Rahul Gandhi put Ambika Soni (former Union Minister) as in charge of Election Campaign Committee. Again this move did not go well with Amarinder Singh.

The situation goes haywire when party leaders started raising petty issues relating to own constituency. The lack of trust and unity ensue the congress unit. A team which is not able to ally its own people than how could it be able to bind the entire Punjab?is a question to ponder upon.

In short, the Punjab Congress has been hurtling from one crisis to another and its leaders are voicing our differently.

Congress leaders predict 3rd rank for the party in Punjab polls

“Factionalism and growing differences between the party members and leadership has put the party on the verge of collapse. Causing embarrassment to top leadership yet another time, some of the state leaders in Punjab have gone on record to predict 3^rd rank for party in upcoming assembly polls.”

While Congress Party and its Punjab state chief, Captain Amarinder Singh are leaving no stone unturned to register a poll victory, state leaders on other hand are making their job challenging day by day.

Oligarchy rules the grand old party of country from top to bottom. Captain might be shouting aloud of unity within the party but in reality Punjab unit of Congress has been reduced to splinter. Adding to the woes of party, dissident leader and former MP, Jagmeet Singh Brar has gone on record to state that party has slipped third position in Punjab after the ruling SAD-BJP combine and much talked about Aam Aadmi Party. It is noteworthy that similar views are getting echoed from other state leaders.

Factionalism within the party

Whether it was due to the state leadership or nomination to Rajya Sabha, Punjab unit of Congress was always burning with serious internal conflicts. Ahead of assembly polls, former CM and MP from Amritsar had put the party high command in a tight spot, demanding that former Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC), President was removed from the post.

Going all out to prove his point, Amarinder Singh had arm-twisted with party high command by threatening to quit the party if Bajwa was not removed as Pradesh Congress Committee president.

 Internal feud within Congress party in Punjab never refuses to die down and ahead of assembly polls the differences are growing. Putting a question mark on party claims of winning the upcoming elections in Punjab, congress leaders are witnessed getting their hands dirty in public domain.

Amarinder & Pak Journo’s Marriage Mystery!

The mystery shrouded around the alleged affair and wedding of ex-chief minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh with the Pakistan-based journalist Aroosa Alam.

Even the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad was buzzed with griping comments and rumors about the affair between the two. Aroosa Alam is a Pak-journalist who has been associated with ISI. The federal ministers and high profile leaders have been found putting interesting comments on the issue.

Although Captain Amarinder always denied the reports of affair with Aroosa, but their closeness in public appearance were evident to everyone and displayed some other story. The affair turned into marriage rumors when love struck Amarinder was found spending state’s exchequer funds on his girlfriend Aroosa.

The relationship which started on a friendship note took the romantic turn resulted into a wedlock. But it was not clear whether Amarinder has converted to Islam or Aroosa accepted the Sikhism. As the wedding was possible in these two conditions only!

Aroosa is a daughter of an ill-famed Pak woman who was close to Pakistani General Yahaya Khan. She was often called General’s Rani because of her alleged relations with General. Following her mother’s footsteps, Aroosa been linked up to many top-notch celebs of Pakistan. She allured a Jat politician from Guranwala district, named Hamid Nasir Chatha. Reports of their close contact churned the rumor mills.

Aroosa started her career from English daily from capital Islamabad. Her department was related to defense and diplomatic issues. She even worked as a correspondent for Weekly Hurrmat Urdu. Today she is working for Daily Pakistan Observer in Islamabad.

She has joined SAFMA, a media NGO in India once she was elected as senior Vice President of Rawalpindi Islamabad Press Club. She builds a sound relationship with Indian Ambassador Shiv Shankar Menon of that time, and it was due to his influence and assistance she got special visa of India. It was a rare privilege for a Pakistani Journo.  Menon is now serving as a secretary in Foreign Affairs of India.

The SAFMA members are considered to have suspicious links with hostile intelligence communities of India and Pakistan. It has been stated that Asoora is close connected with top brass of ISI.

Not long ago, Asoora has bought a house worth whopping Rs seven crore after her friendship or love affair with Captain Amarinder Singh. As per the sources to be believed this lavish mansion is gifted by Captain himself, to his lady love.

Congress Woes: Crunch or Corruption?

The Congress-led UPA escalates inequality in their policy slate that allows a narrow portion of the Indian populace to mount vast amounts of wealth. The policies which were sought to enhance the entrepreneurial class as the engine of growth provided that class with the methods to benefit through corruption. The number of scams and scandals rocked the Congress began under the leadership of Dr. Manmohan Singh. And the time Indian electoral began; the Congress was tagged as the party of corruption. It was something that the incumbent party could not shake.

On the flip side of the coin, it is displayed that the Grand Old party of Indian political ground is facing a financial crunch. In the power of ten years, the party took a huge overdraft from the banks while serving at the Centre. The party treasurer admitted to the same but tried to conceal the facts while terming it as a normal thing. The party didn’t even reveal the amount borrowed when asked. Rather they have been quoted saying that it is their personal and internal matter.  But few of the sources peg the amount to be around Rs. 300 crore.

The Congress aspirants complained on getting no fund from the party. Each contender can spend up to Rs. 60 lakh per constituency as per the election commission guidelines but many of them were told to seize for themselves.

The corrupt congress displayed the fake financial crunch to its leaders and public. In fact the reality was something else. It was to defraud the emotions of own leaders. The party involved in different scams and corruption cases. Even today many of the Congress ministers are struggling to prove their innocence before the law.

Spearheaded by Sonia Gandhi, the Congress party has now lost all its charm which was build be the Gandhi clan for years.  Over and above, Mr. Rahul Gandhi (trolled as Pappu) leading the party backwards with his so called antics, statements and speeches!!

There is no unity in the team and leaders try to drag the fellow members down. Even the Gandhis are blamed for making no-participatory decision. They follow the rule of autocracy while Madam and Pappu rule the empire.

In short, Congress tenure comes to a horrific end. From here there is no scope to improvise and lead in the power. The golden era concludes on a very disturbing note.
