Punjab Congress to Get Zero Votes, Says Kejriwal

Punjab is roaring high in amidst of upcoming Assembly Elections due early next year. The ruling and the opposition parties are all geared up to grab the power in the state. Everyday rallies, events, meetings, new promises, commitments, growth prospects, development programs, plans are echoed through the loudspeakers by the political bigwigs.

Also, how could we forget the allegation part!! Oppositions leaving no stone unturned in blaming the ruling party. Despite quoting their own progressive agendas for Punjab, they find it easy to pin-point others.

Recently, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal while addressing an event on Thursday quoted, “The Congress will meet the same fate in Punjab as in Delhi. ”

He simply kicked out Congress from the race but he forgot the level of uncertainty hovering over these elections. He even added that the Congress will meet the same destiny in Punjab as in Delhi.

Kejriwal’s speech is focused on the success of the AAP govt. in Delhi. He said, “If elections are held again in Delhi now, we will even win the three remaining seats too (AAP had won 67 seats in Delhi assembly out of total 70).”

Arvind Kejriwal always sounds over confident but his accusation against Congress was certainly not the wrong. Punjab Congress head by Captain Amarinder Singh has brought nothing to Punjab’s fortune. They bought only scams, frauds, money embezzlements and manipulations.

We will win this much seats

His leader Captain Amarinder always hit the headlines with his strange politicking strategies. Even his own party people don’t support him and his tactics. He created a rift in the party with his dictatorship attitude. Currently, he is on his political tour to USA and Canada. Though Canada govt. bars him to conduct any kind of rally in the nation!

The Punjab has turned into an electoral battle ground. So many happenings in the state pull everyone’s attention. This is going to be really interesting to know who is going to rule next in Punjab. Three strong parties viz. Congress, AAP and SAD-BJP alliance are there to play the perfect oppositions. The people of Punjab are perplexed to choose the best for the state because at the end its growth, development and prosperity that matters!

So dear Punjabis, have a happy voting experience!

After AAP; it’s now Congress to woo voters

“It would not be wrong to say that the grand old party of the country, Congress is following the footsteps of AAP in Punjab”

After Aam Aadmi Party’s much hyped “lunch” and “dinner” polity, Congress has launched “Coffee with Captain” campaign in state, where Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President, Captain Amarinder Singh hosts coffee parties for select audience.

It is a known fact that it was Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that had started organizing paid meals with political leader as a part of its cheap frolics to be in media and social media. And now when the state is heading towards 2017 assembly polls; Punjab Congress is also going the AAP way of despicable politics.

The only difference between the two is that AAP’s lunches and dinners are aimed at raising funds for the party and its leaders; Captain’s coffee party was held free of cost for a select audience.

But, as it was launch of Campaign, more than 500 people had gathered at a local park to attend the event, where youth raised questions on Captain’s plans to provide them with jobs if he formed government in the state.

Noticeably, it was Prashant Kishore who had extolled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s past as “Tea-seller” and turned it into a generic outreach with ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ campaign. The same Prashant Kishore has now picked up coffee to promote Captain Amarinder Singh’s electioneering. He has been appointed as the Congress’ poll strategist for Punjab assembly polls and also possesses Indian Political Awareness Committee (IPAC).

It is worth mentioning here that Captain, who comes from the ‘Royal family’ of Patiala, has often come under lot of criticism for his inaccessibility.

An official Facebook page ‘Punjab Da Captain’ has been created especially where the quiz, ‘8 Baj Gaye Kya’ is uploaded at 8 pm every day. Congress has been offering Rs 1,500-worth Flipkart vouchers every day to those who answer correctly and even for those who answer incorrectly as a “bribe”.

“Coffee with Captain” campaign is more or less being billed as an exercise to woo urban voters which are largely divided between the BJP and the Congress in cities like Amritsar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar.

At the end, fact remains that despite of ridiculing Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi, all these politicians want to copy him. A day is not far when other leaders across nation would be copying him too 🙂

Capt Amarinder readies to hang up his electoral boots

Punjab Congress chief Capt. Amarinder Singh will fight his last electoral battle

“This will be my last electoral battle. Every soldier needs to hang up their boots some time,” said former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh during his much talked “Coffee with Captain” campaign in Amritsar.

Playing safe, as he is aware of his defeat in Punjab, he further stated that “We want to provide opportunities to others, to the youth and those who have a potential to grow as good leaders but do not have any family connections.”

It is important to mention here is that Captain had been blaming Badal for not looking beyond his own self and the family. Now, the same Captain is geared up to introduce his 27-year-old grandson, Nirvan Singh, to politics.

Ahead of Punjab assembly polls, Captain is leaving no stone unturned to make his mark. He even urged people of Punjab to vote for the Grand Old Party – Congress, saying, “This is not the time for experiments, and that the state needs an experienced party and an experienced leader.”

Sitting on an exclusive Royal Chair and making a pitch for Industrial development in Punjab, Captain said, “People of Punjab are in debt, industries, agriculture, economy all have deteriorated. It is very much important to create an ecosystem that will let industries thrive. Punjab cannot work on trial and error basis when electing a government.”

Also, Captain did not miss a chance to degrade ruling SAD-BJP government. “While the ruling politicians are amassing huge wealth growing richer and richer, Punjab was getting poorer and poorer to the extent of going bankrupt”, he said, while adding, he will ensure that they are made to account for each penny they looted from Punjab.

Noteworthy, the same Captain, who is showing concern about Punjab and Punjabis’, had been ‘inaccessible’ to his own party cadre. One of the senior leaders from Congress had highlighted that despite of repeated reminders and phone calls, he could not get audience with Captain for over two months.

If Captain is really concerned about the welfare of Punjab then he should make an effort to reach ‘poor’ in Punjab, instead of inviting ‘rich’ to his much hyped ‘Coffee with Captain’ campaign in the state, which he claims as the best interactive mode to understand the people of Punjab.
