Captain Amarinder Singh’s love for “CLEAN CHITS”

PPCC President has turned to be a savior for his party members. Recently, Congress MLA Tarlochan Singh Soondh hurled a shoe at revenue minister of the opposition party during the last session of assembly for which he had to face a lot of criticism from all over the country.  However, a day after this incident, Amarinder Singh- The Savior, appeared to justify the action of his MLA and said,” Our legislator got emotional and reacted,”

This is not for the first time when Captain Amarinder Singh has given clean chit to his party members, before this he defended alleged perpetrator of Sikh genocide that happened in 1984, Jagdish Tytler by saying, “I am not the CBI, I am not the court. I am telling you what I saw, and felt. I was in Delhi, and went to all the camps, and everyone I met took all these names that I have told you, except Jagdish Tytler. When did Jagdish Tytler’s name come up? It came up when he was fighting Madan Lal Khurana in Delhi, and that was months later.”

Also, when Kamal Nath resigned from the position of general secretary in Punjab Congress, Captain came out for his defense. “Even if Kamal Nath would have been there as in-charge, there would have been nothing on the party. There would have been nothing. Things have changed,” he said. He defended the present general secretary Asha Kumari also, who faced opposition in Punjab due to the land grabbing case.

Not just his party members, he showed his love of “clean chits” to the rebelled members of the other parties as well. Here, we are talking about Succha Singh Chottepur, PPCC president defended and gave the clean chit to the ex- convener of AAP by saying that he had an “untarnished record of 40 years in public life”.

So, next time when you commit a mistake but don’t want to accept it, consult PPCC president, Captain Amarinder Singh, he would be happy to give you “CLEAN CHIT”. Don’t hurry, this offer is not limited.

Capt Amarinder Singh turned into a special agent

PPCC President will go to US, Canada to “expose AAP” or “meeting AAP leaders”

The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt Amarinder Singh going to turn himself a Congress agent who would tour to US and Canada especially on the political inspection. It’s not an inspection tour but he would meet the AAP leaders as the Congress and AAP parties are hand in glove with each other.

Amarinder would visit US and Canada for his political honeymoon. As per the information, he is spreading the rumours that he would expose AAP party in US and Canada.

What a stupid idea of “political inspection” in Abroad?

Capt Amarinder Singh had given a statement to media that he would check the activities of AAP party in abroad. Moreover, he would inspect the wrong doing on AAP in abroad. After the proper inspection, the Punjab Congress head will expose AAP in US and Canada. What a stupid idea he has floated among the public? The poll strategist of Congress, Prashant Kishore has gone mad and suggesting such non sense tricks to misguide the public.

Capt forgets that he has to command his party for Punjab polls, not for polls abroad

Capt Amarinder Singh gave his statement that he would go abroad the expose the AAP in front of NRIs. He has forgotten that he would have to command the party for Punjab polls, not for the polls abroad. Instead of spending time in Punjab state, the PPCC President preferred to go abroad with his fake idea of political inspection. The infighting within the party is still on and he has scheduled his tour in US and Canada.

Capt Amarinder will meet AAP leaders, both parties are hand in glove with each other

The foolish idea of political inspection was floated by Kishore to mislead the people of Punjab. The incumbent PPCC President has scheduled his meetings with the AAP leaders in US and Canada so that people could not suspect him. It is now proved that the AAP is the second part of Congress. In a month long tour, the former CM would meet Sucha Singh Chotepur and other leaders including the AAP supremo Arvind Kejirwal.

After AAP; it’s now Congress to woo voters

“It would not be wrong to say that the grand old party of the country, Congress is following the footsteps of AAP in Punjab”

After Aam Aadmi Party’s much hyped “lunch” and “dinner” polity, Congress has launched “Coffee with Captain” campaign in state, where Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President, Captain Amarinder Singh hosts coffee parties for select audience.

It is a known fact that it was Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that had started organizing paid meals with political leader as a part of its cheap frolics to be in media and social media. And now when the state is heading towards 2017 assembly polls; Punjab Congress is also going the AAP way of despicable politics.

The only difference between the two is that AAP’s lunches and dinners are aimed at raising funds for the party and its leaders; Captain’s coffee party was held free of cost for a select audience.

But, as it was launch of Campaign, more than 500 people had gathered at a local park to attend the event, where youth raised questions on Captain’s plans to provide them with jobs if he formed government in the state.

Noticeably, it was Prashant Kishore who had extolled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s past as “Tea-seller” and turned it into a generic outreach with ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ campaign. The same Prashant Kishore has now picked up coffee to promote Captain Amarinder Singh’s electioneering. He has been appointed as the Congress’ poll strategist for Punjab assembly polls and also possesses Indian Political Awareness Committee (IPAC).

It is worth mentioning here that Captain, who comes from the ‘Royal family’ of Patiala, has often come under lot of criticism for his inaccessibility.

An official Facebook page ‘Punjab Da Captain’ has been created especially where the quiz, ‘8 Baj Gaye Kya’ is uploaded at 8 pm every day. Congress has been offering Rs 1,500-worth Flipkart vouchers every day to those who answer correctly and even for those who answer incorrectly as a “bribe”.

“Coffee with Captain” campaign is more or less being billed as an exercise to woo urban voters which are largely divided between the BJP and the Congress in cities like Amritsar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar.

At the end, fact remains that despite of ridiculing Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi, all these politicians want to copy him. A day is not far when other leaders across nation would be copying him too 🙂

Amarinder made Swiss bank as capital of India

Capital

Swiss accounts speaks the corruption savings of PPCC Chief

Can someone tell Delhi is the capital of India or Swiss banks where the incumbent PPCC Chief Capt Amarinder Singh put his hard earned corruption money?

A joke has gone viral on social media that Amarinder Singh made Swiss banks as the capital of the country.

Amarinder sent his wealth to Swiss banks

In recent revelations by Income Tax department unearthed that during his tenure as Punjab CM from 2002-07, Amarinder, his son Raninder and wife Preneet Kaur had opened different accounts in Swiss banks.

In a span of five years as Punjab CM, Amarinder sent the money earned from corrupt practises to Swiss bank accounts. The department has written in a charge sheet that accounts were opened in the foreign banks and the maximum transactions especially deposits were done within five years from 2002-07.

State exchequer money diverted in Swiss banks by Amarinder family

Amarinder Singh becomes the richest politician who had utilised the exchequer money for his personal savings and diverted the money in the accounts. Even the money earned through different corruption tricks by Amarinder was also sent to the accounts so that the proper wealth could be maintained.

PPCC Chief owns luxury houses in Dubai and Pakistan

I-T department has also found that Amarinder had bought a luxurious house in the post locality of Dubai. The house was bought during the Congress regime in Punjab. The main reason behind the purchase was Amarinder’s girlfriend Aroosa Alam because it was difficult for him to visit Pakistan frequently. Earlier, he had bought a Bungalow in Pakistan and gifted to Alam. But after some time they started meeting in Dubai and finally, they decided for their own house for privacy.

Congress to woo Punjabi NRIs with eye on 2017 polls

Visits by political delegations to woo the Punjabi Diaspora settled abroad have begun, which gave a clear indication of all the major political parties in Punjab getting into the poll mode for 2017 assembly elections.

With a hope that the NRIs will do for them what they did for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress is now planning to send its senior leaders abroad to woo the Punjabi NRIs.

The party is planning a trip to those pockets in the US, Canada and Europe where Punjabis are politically active and are keen to get involved in state politics. Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh, his wife Preneet Kaur, an MLA from Patiala, and a host of state leaders will soon fan out to different parts of the globe to connect with the Punjabi community living abroad.

Internal rift between AAP in Punjab has shown hope to the Congress leaders, who not missing a chance stated, “Internal rift between AAP and the party’s sagginess in Punjab have disappointed the NRIs. It is the right time to strike to win them over as many of them are still upset with the ruling SAD-BJP government”, said one of the senior leaders of Congress. “NRIs can also help with funds and that would cut AAP’s financial lifeline”, he further added.

It is no more a secret that the success of AAP in 2014 general elections in Punjab was due to liberal donation of funds by NRIs and their being captivated with promise of clean and educated leadership offered by the AAP. At that time, non-resident Indians showed a marked preference for the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party.

In today’s high-tech world, the NRIs play a major role in elections, as they get involved in politics of their respective home states, through micro blogging sites and media, i.e. local new channels.  It is therefore no wonder that political leaders from all parties feel the need to get in touch with the NRIs living abroad, if not on party forum than on individual basis.

Congress is leaving no stone unturned, as firstly it had hired political strategist Prashant Kishore to frame the party’s political strategy for the upcoming polls, as he was the key person behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Victory. Secondly, its top leaders are flying overseas to woo the Punjabi NRIs, as it has realized the role played by NRIs in AAP getting a big vote percentage in Punjab earlier.

Punjab’s life line; its river water

punjab-troubled_l_111111054230
History of inter-state river water disputes – Sutlej Yamuna link canal

“River water is a life line of Punjab farmers and the interests of farmers are very dear to the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), the oldest regional party of the country.  The party’s contribution to the cause of the state and its people is audaciously written in blood”

On April 6, 1982, then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi started the SYL canal at Kapori village after she made an unconstitutional move in 1976 to award 75% of Punjab’s waters to non-riparian states of Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi. The Amarinder government introduced the Termination of Water Agreement Act, 2004 in the Vidhan Sabha, to be rejected by the President.

SAD has put a full-stop on efforts of Capt Amarinder Singh to cheat farmers and make them believe they were leading the battle against releasing waters through the SYL canal to Haryana. The ruling party has often said that it is ready for any sacrifice on this issue but it will not allow waters to go to neighbouring states.

SAD consistent on SYL issue
From the day this issue has arisen, the Punjab Government had been consistently saying that no compromise would be made on the rights of Punjab as a Riparian State from where these rivers originate.

The Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Parkash Singh Badal also emphasized that SAD will ensure that there is no compromise on the sharing of river waters with neighbouring Haryana under the Riparian Principle. However, the Punjab Congress and its chief, Capt Amarinder Singh for the heck of opposition launched a scathing attack on the government policies by resorting to a vilification campaign to mislead the gullible people of Punjab.

The Punjab cabinet would bring ‘Punjab Sutlej Yamuna Link Canal (Rehabilitation and Re-vesting of Proprietary Rights) Bill, 2016’  in the Assembly which will allow the government to restore land acquired for construction of SYL canal to its owners.

Also, Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal , Union Food Processing Industries Minister had accused Capt. Amarinder Singh for paying lip service and issuing press statements for public consumption. “Punjabis have been suffering repeatedly at the hands of successive Congress governments even as Punjab Congress leaders continue to pay lip service to the demands of the State. The time has come to walk the talk. Amarinder Singh should either make the Congress high command toe his line on the issue of river waters or resign as a failed leader”, said Harsimrat Kaur Badal.

Also, well known for its urge to be in power and media, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) intervened into the issue and its leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira challenged Punjab Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh to an open debate on the SYL issue. Let’s see whether Capt Amarinder Singh accepts the challenge or just pay lip service over the issue.
