AICC questions Amarinder for favoring turncoats

Sona and Rahul

Capt Amarinder Singh has been facing the heat of AICC for favoring the turncoats. The AICC has questioned Amarinder for favoring the turncoats in the party. The party leaders revolted against the PPCC President for inviting turncoats and promising them the party tickets.

The Central Election Committee headed by AICC President Sonia Gandhi raised questioned over the selection of turncoats for assembly seats. The matter was raised by Rajya Sabha MP’s Partap Singh Bajwa, Shamsher Singh Dullo and Santokh Chaudhry.

The Rajya Sabha MP’s met Rahul Gandhi and warned him about Amarinder’s favors to political turncoats. Shamsher Singh Dullo met Sonia Gandhi and informed her about the situation of the party in Punjab. Dullo told that Amarinder ignored the sincere and hard workers.

In the CEC meeting, the name of former SAD legislator Inderbir Singh Bolaria for party ticket raised a storm in the meeting. The AICC President and senior leadership questioned that why Bolaria’s name was inducted in the probable candidate’s name.

Bolaria was questioned by Enforcement Directorate in the famous drug trafficking case. Shiromani Akali Dal expelled him because of his misconduct in the party. Amarinder inducted him and promised him the party ticket.

Another apple of discord was Navjot Kaur Sidhu, the former SAD legislator. Amarinder inducted Sidhu’s bane in the probable list. Another former SAD legislator Pargat Singh’s name was also questioned by AICC.

A source in the CEC said that a senior leader shouted when a member read out the name of Sarwan Singh Phillaur in the probable’s list. The leader questioned that why the name of Phillaur, who’s son faced ED probe in connection with Bhola drug racket case.

The senior Congress leader Janardhan Dwivedi lambasted at Amarinder’s move. He told that if the political turncoats were not useful for their old parties then how come they would help Punjab Congress.

The list of the candidates was supposed to announce on December 8 but now the screening committee will meet on December 13. The delay in the Punjab Congress list will definitely affect the party in the upcoming Punjab polls.

Reality check on Congress performance in midst of pre -poll surveys

T.V channels are all set with their assumptions, facts, and theories about the results of upcoming poll results? And the recent addition is the survey of India Today Group. As per their opinion poll, Congress is going to mark a victory next year. Their poll made a projection that Captain Amarinder Singh is emerging as one of the popular chief minister candidates in Punjab.

Maybe, PPCC President tried to “use” the “media” for the self-praise but totally at the wrong time. As we all know, this is the era of technology and we have all the proofs of India Today’s fake surveys and “self-created” results, which claimed the victory of Congress in the year 2012 also and we all know the actual results.

What’s the reality?

Keeping these “paid” results aside, what’s the real scenario of Punjab? Congress’ has gained all the popularity due to the “infighting” and “violence” created by its members. Here are some headlines:

14543948_1597263027245648_7363037089134813969_o 14711186_1597554817216469_7434189249396294228_o

  • Youth congress secretary got arrested in Ludhiana for violence and 37 more members were booked on the same charge.
  • Members of Congress, Bittu and Ashu are booked under kidnapping and attempt to murder cases.
  • Congress leader shot a nephew of political leader
  • Captain Amarinder Singh chooses Politics over Nation’s security
  • Rahul Gandhi slammed over “Dalali” statement
  • Congress aspirants to boycott party interview

Looking at the point given above, it is quite hard to imagine that Captain is getting “popular” and Congress is ready to mark a “victory”.

Suggestion to Captain:

So, we have come up with some suggestions for the captain. It’s better to face the reality than to hide it behind the “paid media results”. You should focus on solving the issues with your own party members, and teach them some lessons on “Teamwork” and “Unity”. Tell your youth members to stop misusing their political powers. Last but not the least, before publishing such “poll results”, save your own “CM Seat” because Sidhu is all set to replace you.

Rahul Gandhi demeans Indian Army

It seems as if the statement of Arvind Kejriwal on Surgical Attacks was not enough that Rahul Gandhi also commented harsh on the same. Congress President on Thursday compared the bravery of our soldiers with the “dalali”, which is such a huge disrespect to not just army but the whole nation.

Mr. Gandhi accused Narendra Modi of doing “khoon ki dalai” by saying that “Hamare jawan hain jinho ne khoon diya hai, jinho ne surgical strike kiya, unke khoon ke peeche aap (Modi) chhupe huye ho” (You are trying to hide behind the blood of soldiers who conducted surgical strikes).”Unki aap dalali kar rahe ho,” Rahul Gandhi said further during the rally in Uttar Pradesh.

Even after saying so much against our own nation, Rahul Gandhi did not feel like stopping. He continued, “Aapne 2 cheezeein zarur ki hain, ek Hindustani ko dusre se ladane ka kaam kia, baantne ka kaam kia hai,”.

It is here to note that earlier, Rahul had congratulated PM Modi for surgical strikes. This comment came after Arvind Kejriwal asked for proof of surgical attacks.

Doing politics on such a sensitive issue clearly shows the narrow mindset of our politicians like Kejriwal and Gandhi. Our soldiers are sacrificing their lives for the sake of nation and these politicians are busy in giving their “expert reviews” and asking for the proof is such a shame.

Punjab Youth Congress is party of goons

Recent murder of Congress worker Hardeeep Singh by Congress members is an eye opener for Punjabis’

Hardeep Singh

Punjab Congress has been exposed in front of the people of Punjab. The Congress leaders boast of their clean image in politics but the recent incident in Jagraon where the Youth Congress workers shot dead another YC worker is an eye opener.

Hardeep Singh Sekhon alias Patwari, a resident of Kaunke Kalan village near Jagraon was killed in a gangwar on Wednesday late night in the local grain market. Sekhon was the active member of Youth Congress and he was the close aide of Youth Congress president of Jagraon, Harman Galib.

Gangwar within Youth Ccongress members

Hardeep and Harman were returning to Jagraon after attending a party’s road show from Bagha Purana. Another YC member who had old rivalry with Harman challenged them over the phone for an open fight at grain market of Jagraon.

The both groups reached on the spot and started shouting at each other. Suddenly, the both groups had opened fire against each other. As per the information, 12 gun shots were fired by both sides. During the gang war, a gunshot hit Hardeep and he fell down. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The accused were members of Youth Congress

Though the AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi had initiated a proper democratic procedure to induct members in the Youth Congress but the procedure is an eye wash as the party has criminal faces in its youth wing. The rival group who killed Hardeep in gang was had old rivalry with Harman Galib. The accused in the case Gurwinder Singh, Inderjit Singh, Simranjit Singh and Balwinder Singh Lakha were the members of Youth Congress. They were from the rival fraction of Harman.

Congressmen killing Congressmen, earlier Ravi Khawajke was killed by his party members

Ravi Khawajke

It’s a second case in Punjab when the Congressmen killed a Congress worker. In February, a Congress village head from the nearby village in Ludhiana was also shot dead by his rival fraction Congress workers. Ravi Khawajke was shot dead in the month of February this year and the police had told that the old rivalry with Congress local leaders were the reason behind Khawake murder.

Congress embarks on a self-destruction mission in Punjab

“With assembly elections in Punjab scheduled in around ten month from now, the state unit of the Congress has been hoping to shift the winning wave in its favour but, instead, it appears to have got into a self-destruction mode.”

bajwa Captain

Out of power for around a decade now, Congress is doing all that is possible to rule Punjab state once again. State chief, Captain Amarinder Singh on the other hand is leaving no stone unturned to make a mark in his last elections as captain has already officially announced to hang his boots after 2017 elections. In an ideal situation both these factors would have consolidated the party and given it firm foothold but instead, the already fragmented state unit of Congress has been reduced to splinter groups.

Captain’s open war against Congress

Captain Amarinder Singh had been fighting an open battle with state former Congress chief Partap Singh Bajwa for nearly three years. Waging a war against the top leadership Captain ensured that Bajwa was ousted from the post.

Congress Vice President, Rahul Gandhi had backed the candidature of Bajwa for the post of President, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) and initially he didn’t seem to be arm-twisted easily for Bajwa’s removal. Out of desperation due to Punjab polls, Rahul succumbed to pressure built up over the last couple of years by Captain Amarinder for a change in the state leadership.

 Conflicting views of mother-son duo

Sonia_talks_to Rahul_close_up_650.jpg

It is a known fact mother-son duo of Sonia and Rahul controls the party across the country. But, conflicting views of mother-son duo are adding to woes faced by the party. Coming out of the protective envelop of his mother, Rahul has emerged as a senior leader, who is capable of taking crucial decision on his own. But unfortunately for him, majority of the decision taken by him backfires as congress party with its old school of thoughts is not in sync with Rahul’s approach.

Rahul leading to a troubled house for Congress

“In a balancing act to placate the disgruntled leaders and to douse the steam of dissent within Punjab unit of Congress, Rahul Gandhi went on an overhaul drive. But instead of removing the negativity, it worsened the situation.”

Coming out of the protective cover of his mother, Congress Vice President Sonia Gandhi has started taking crucial decision on his own. Rahul Gandhi decided to appoint Amarinder Singh as state chief and make him the party’s face for the elections. He was hoping this move would galvanize the party in the run-up to crucial polls in Punjab and remove factionalism, but instead the move seems to have backfired.

Rahul’s effort going in vain

Rahul Gandhi knows it well that the Congress’ chances are bleak in the assembly elections that are underway this year, which are – Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. As a consequence, Rahul is banking heavily on Punjab for Congress party’s revival. Rahul is doing all that is possible to consolidate the fragmented party but unfortunately for him all his hard work is going in vain.

Ahead of general elections, Rahul was made Vice President, much against the resistance of senior Congress leaders and was entrusted with responsibility of heading the elections campaign committee. Congress had witnessed the worst performance in its history and couldn’t even register 50 Lok Sabha seats. The way things are moving with Punjab congress similar situation is predicted even by some of the leaders from Punjab.

Another shot misfired

Rahul is always in favor of giving important positions to young, promising leaders. In a move to accommodate a ‘dalit’ leader in the party leadership, Rahul appointed Charnajit Singh Channi as leader of opposition. Inexperienced Channi replaced Sunil Jakhar, a respected and competent leader. This move didn’t go well with majority of the legislatures of Congress party and thin attendance of Congress legislatures during budget session of assembly validated the fact.

Wake up Captain! You can’t rule Punjab

“It’s high time that the former CM and Congress leader Captain Amarinder Singh should wake up and stop chasing the deceptive dream of ruling the state of Punjab”

It was after the statement issued by Congress vice-President Rahul Gandhi that the former Chief Minister got lost in day-dreams of being the Chief Minister of Punjab. Rahul had stated that once Captain is voted to power in Punjab; he would resolve to end the drug menace in the state “within one month”.

Winning Punjab can be considered as an obsession for Captain Amarinder Singh, who had lost two back-to-back elections in Punjab.

Rift between Punjab Congress stalwarts intensifies
Internal rift between party leaders have risen to a level where ahead of elections; the party is all set to face an internal fight of sort, starting with Captain’s rising revolt against then president of the party’s state unit, Partap Singh Bajwa.

Captain had put Congress high command in tight spot by threatened to quit if former PPCC president Partap Singh Bajwa was not removed from the post. Congress president Sonia Gandhi had no option but to give up to captain’s unreasonable demand, which infact resulted in differences between Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. Worth mentioning here is that it was again Rahul Gandhi, who helped Bajwa to rise to the ranks of PPCC president.

Harsh ground reality
It is now an open chapter that Congress has become the junkyard of disgruntled leaders and splinter groups. While estranged Akali leader and former finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal and dissenters from BSP have already joined hands with captains, talks are on with left parties as well.

Captain, who is still dreaming to rule Punjab, should wake up and accept the fact that Punjab is not going to acknowledge him as its chief Minister.

Congress badly defeated
Under the captaincy of Capt Amarinder Singh, the Congress party had witnessed bad defeat twice in 2007 and 2012 assembly polls. Captain’s extreme anxiety before the 2017 assembly poll is pushing him hard to accumulate splinters groups and irritated leaders in the Grand old party, but would that help Captain is the main question of the hour.

AICC vice president meets the traitor of the country

Excited Rahul meets Kanhaiya who is facing sedition charges

The vice president of All India Congress Committee who is also famous as Pappu Gandhi has shown his anti-national qualities openly. The Yuvraj of Congress was eagerly waiting to meet the JNUSU president who had shouted slogans against the country.

Even Gandhi had supported the protest of JNU students in favour of the students who are facing the sedition charges.

As per the information, the JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar met Rahul on Tuesday and other students’ union office bearers also accompanied him.

Courtesy call for traitors by Congress

The anti-national Congress termed the meeting as Courtesy call. It means the party would give more courtesy calls to those who would shout slogans against the country.

On the directions of Rahul, the meeting was arranged by the National Students Union of India chief, Roji John.

John was also present during the meeting. John told the media, “They thanked him (Rahul) for his continuous support. He not only supported the students at JNU, but also FTII and IIT Madras, where students have been protesting against the way government is attacking institutions. We will continue this fight to protect autonomy of institutions,”

Why Rahul met Kanhaiya?

Rahul tweet

Rahul in a tweet said, “Met a delegation of student leaders from AISF and JNUSU President.” The Pappu visited the JNU campus on February 13, a day after Kanhaiya was arrested in a sedition case over an event on Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

The sources revealed that Rahul met Kanhaiya only for discussing the politics. After the prominence of JNUSU president in the country, Rahul want to strengthen NSUI wing in the prestigious university of the country. Even he has offered a position to Kanhaiya in the party fold. The meeting of the vice president with the student facing the sedition charges proved the anti-national ideology of Rahul.

Why is Rahul Gandhi mum on SYL issue?

“Rahul Gandhi has been vociferously raising his voice against all the major issues afflicting Indian society. It is surprising in this context that Rahul is maintaining a silence on sensitive and emotive issue of SYL, considering that his family had been responsible for the construction of canal and robbing Punjab of its water.”

State of Punjab had to suffer a lot in wake of water sharing pact between neighboring states of Haryana & Rajasthan. Congress led governments in Punjab along centre helmed the construction of contentious Satluj-Yamuna link (SYL). In the year 1982 Indira Gandhi started the canal by ceremonially digging it. Indira Gandhi had negotiated a tripartite agreement between Punjab, Haryana & Rajasthan.

Anti-Punjab stand of Congress

Punjab has suffered tremendously in the past due to the anti-Punjab stand of Congress. Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi even sided with neighboring state Haryana and forced the state to sign tripartite water treaty paving way for construction of SYL canal.

Meanwhile Punjab Congress led by its CLP leader Charanjit Channi conducted a political stunt to fill up the SYL canal after farmers had started filling it up one day earlier.

Congress opposing a Pro-farmer move

In a historic resolution moved by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, SYL canal is to be de-notified and the land acquired is transferred back to the farmers. Congress party just for the sake of opposing any move taken by ruling government is opposing this pro-farmer initiative tooth & nail. Completely ignoring the interests of people of Punjab, they are opposing it to score political points.

Now that the SYL canal itself has been made history by the Punjab CM, the Congress should support it in the interest of state but instead party high command was still to spell out its stand on the issue.
