Delhi court summons the former DSGMC head Sarna in a cheating case

A Delhi court has issued summons to former president of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) Paramjit Singh (Sarna) and former manager education in DSGMC Harmohinder Singh in a cheating case. They both had submitted a forge NOC of the DDA to Guru Teg Bahadur Engineering College in Rajouri Garden. The court summoned them to appear before it on April 4.

Metropolitan Magistrate (West) Ajay Kumar said the investigation conducted so far revealed that Harmohinder Singh had forwarded the forged NOC to the Director, Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT), stating that it had been authorised to run engineering college on the premises of G-8 area, Rajouri Garden, in West Delhi in place of Polytechnic Institute.

Anti-Sikh activities of Paramjit Singh Sarna

Paramjit Singh Sarna, the former DSGMC president had left no stone unturned to support the anti-Sikh activities. He forgot the Sikh genocide and honored Sajjan Kumar with Siropa. Even he supported Sajjan Kumar’s brother in the elections.

Sajjan Kumar was responsible for the killings of the innocent Sikhs in Delhi during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Sarna not only supported him whole heartedly but also honored him. Even he honored the grandson of the notorious Editor Lala Jagat Narayan.

Sarna did not join the protests carried out by the 1984 anti-Sikh riot affected victims. Moreover, he stopped the pension of 1984 widows. He also denied the Akhand Path for the riot victims. He appealed the riot affected families to forgive those who were involved in 1984 Sikh carnage.

Sarna is linked with Rashtriya Sikh Sangat

Ujjagar Sinh, president of the Rashtryia Sikh Sangat (RSS) Delhi unit, and then president Paramjit Sarna of the DSGMC approached a stall setup by the RSS during the Guru Granth Sahib Jagitri Procession and praised the right-wing organization’s efforts and sewa. Ujjagar Sinh also stated that the RSS workers at the stall then honored Sarna with a siropa.

He had claimed that the entire event was recorded by RSS workers, including the conversation in which Sarna stated that they are not Rashtriya Sikhs but Guru-kay-Sikhs. In response the RSS President replied, “we are Guru-kay-Sikhs. We are Guru-ki-Sangat. The word Rashtriya is just part of our organization’s name.”

It should be noted, that in a memorandum released in July of 2004, Sri Akal Takht Sahib instructed the Sikh Nation to boycott both the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and its offshoot Rashtriya Sikh Sangat due to their anti-Panthic activities and agenda.

A major setback for Congress in Dera Baba Nanak, Inderjit Randhawa quits the party

The senior Congress leader Inderjit Singh Randhawa quit the party on Tuesday. It’s a major setback for the party in the Dera Baba Nanak constituency. Congress gave ticket to his brother Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa from the constituency.

Inderjit was opposing his brother’s name for the ticket but the party ignored him and gave ticket to his brother. He was seeking ticket for his son Deepinder Singh Randhawa. Inderjit said that the party has ignored the loyal and sincere leaders.

Inderjit’s son, who is also Punjab Youth Congress secretary Deepinder Randhawa, along with 294 office-bearers, including Dera Baba Nanak Youth Congress chief Jatinder Kumar Gora, and district president of the National Students Union of India Gursimranjeet Singh Randhawa, also tendered their resignation.

Inderjit said that he will contest elections from the Dera Baba Nanak constituency.  He is in touch with third front parties and within a couple of days; he will make a formal announcement of joining a political oufit.

Deepinder said he had applied for a Congress ticket from Fatehgarh Churian or Dera Baba Nanak constituencies, but his application was rejected. Deepinder further said that he worked whole heartedly for the party but the party picked the wrong candidate.

The family feud of Randhawa family over the allocation of ticket will harm the party in the constituency. Deepinder has a huge fan following in the constituency. Inderjit Singh Randhawa is son of a prominent Congress leader.

The differences between Inderjit Singh and Sukhjinder Singh deepened when Sukhjinder didn’t help his nephew Deepinder in the Punjab Youth Congress elections.

Rebels in Punjab Congress to harm the party in assembly polls

The rebels in the Punjab Congress will harm the party in the upcoming assembly polls. Capt Amarinder Singh expelled the senior leader Bir Devinder Singh last year. Bir Devinder Singh worked for the party for three decades.

Bir Devinder Singh threatened the PPCC President Amarinder Singh that he will support the rivals in Patiala constituencies. He had complained about the high headedness of Amarinder Singh and his personal opinion published in English daily forced Amarinder to expel him from the party. Bir Devinder Singh was the legislator from Mohali constituency from 2002-2007.

Another rebel Jagmeet Brar also working against the Punjab Congress and joined hand with Trinamool Congress. Brar was the former Member Parliament and he also suffered because of the differences with Amarinder Singh.

Surjit Singh Barnala’s family also up in arms against the party for denying ticket to their family member from Dhuri seat and wrote to party high command in this regard. Gajender Singh Deepa, the senior Congress leader failed to get ticket from Sunam. Deepa has threatened the party to change the Sunam candidate or otherwise face bruin in the assembly elections.

The family members of senior Congress leader Gurchet Singh Bhullar are angry with the party for giving ticket to Sukhpal Singh Bhullar. Interestingly, Sukhpal is son of Gurchet and both are against each other. Gurchet was expecting ticket from Dera Baba Nanak but the party gave ticket to his son.

Inder Sekhri, younger brother of sitting Congress MLA Ashwani Sekhri told the party high command to drop his brother’s name from Batala constituency. Inder has written a letter to party high command cited the reason that his elder brother has done nothing for the constituency. Moreover, Ashwini is hand in glove with BJP leaders.

The factionalism and rebellion has increased in the party which will lead to a biggest damage to Punjab Congress in the upcoming assembly polls.

Cong Tarn Taran Chief who promised opium vends party candidate from Khemkaran

Sukhpal Singh Bhullar who had promised to open opium and poppy husk in Punjab is the Congress candidate from Khemkaran.  Bhullar had openly promised in a rally that if Congress forms the government, the party will open the poppy husk vends.

Interestingly, he made this statement in a public rally which was also attended by PPCC President Capt Amrinder Singh at Amarkot in 2015. Sukhpal is a staunch supporter of Captain Amrinder Singh.

Even the former Punjab Congress President Pratap Singh Bajwa had issued a show cause notice to Bhullar asking him to clarify why he made an irresponsible statement. Amarinder Singh was sharing stage with Bhullar when he made such a blunder. But, Amarinder didn’t stop him or interrupt him during his speech.

It was clear that Amarinder Singh’s aide Bhullar was talking because of the backing of Amarinder. The Punjab Congress claims to make Punjab drug free. Even Amarinder Singh has started a campaign quit drugs get job. But, on the other hand, Amarinder helped Bhullar to get the party ticket.

Capt Amarinder Singh exposed in front of the public for helping a person who openly claimed to open opium vends. Why Amarinder promoted such leader who gave such an irresponsible statement? It means Amarinder has to do nothing with the welfare of people. Amarinder’s aim was to help his aide at any cost and finally he got a ticket for Bhullar.

Voting for Amarinder means jumping into the deep well

Every Punjabi should cast his or her vote in the Punjab assembly polls but be careful if you vote for Punjab Congress. The voters should know the consequences of voting Punjab Congress. If Punjab Congress comes to power, Amarinder Singh will cancel all the decisions taken by the ruling SAD-BJP government.

Amarinder Singh will review every single order and decision of the SAD-BJP government. It seems the PPCC Chief will take revenge from the SAD-BJP alliance if comes to power. He will spoil the career of those permanent employees who recently regularized by the ruling Punjab government.

He had done this during his tenure as Punjab CM when he cancelled the recruitment done by previous government. Thousands of youth were depressed due to the decision of Amarinder at that time. If people will cast their vote to Punjab Congress, the 27000 permanent employees will be affected.

Even the mid day meal workers will be the sufferers as their wages revised by the Punjab government. It means Amarinder will be harmful to the people of Punjab if comes to power. The voters of Punjab elected the ruling Punjab government twice for the development and progress.

However, Amarinder will take revenge as he has personal grudges against the ruling SAD-BJP alliance. But, the public will suffer as Amarinder is a high headed politician. He still lives in the royal lifestyle and considered himself the king of Patiala.

So, the voters should understand the value of their votes. Voting for Amarinder would be disastrous for people of Punjab. He has been planning to cancel the recruitments so that he could recruit again by taking bribe if he forms the government.

Cong loses Chandigarh MC Polls, now its turn for Punjab Congress

The demonetization of BJP showed the magic in Chandigarh MC Polls as BJP got clear majority by winning 21 seats. Congress party managed to win only four seats in MC elections. The SAD-BJP alliance captured the MC polls with a landslide victory.

The MC election was an acid test for both BJP and Congress after demonetization. The BJP came out with flying colors in the fifth MC polls. Chandigarh Congress had contested the polls on demonetization issue and the party was only criticizing PM Narendra Modi.

Even the senior Congress leaders were predicting the results in favor of the party.  However, the people of Chandigarh gave their mandate in favor of BJP. The Congress stalwarts lost the battle this time. Subhash Chawla, Congress candidate and two time mayor lost the polls.

Even the Chandigarh Congress President Pardeep Chhabra failed to help his wife Ritu Chhabra who lost from ward number three. The former mayor of Congress, Poonam Sharma failed to win his seat from ward number 4. Even the former mayor Harphool Chander Kalyan lost the polls.

It is crystal clear the MC election was one sided and the show was stolen by BJP on Tuesday. The mayor will be from BJP as there are total 36 seats. The election held for 26 seats and BJP won 21 seats. The UT Administrator will nominate the nine councilors.

Congress can’t elect the mayor from the party if nine nominated councilors may vote for the Congress. The BJP has clear majority of 21 seats and Congress is still helpless if the party gets support from nine nominated councilors.

It is now crystal clear that people are with SAD-BJP alliance. Despite the demonetization, the people supported the alliance. In Punjab, demonetization will give a major setback to Punjab Congress. It’s now the turn of Punjab Congress to taste the third consecutive defeat.

Amarinder Singh fails to bait Punjab farmers

“Amarinder Singh duping the farmers by promising them if he comes in power, he will waive off the debt. He met the PM Narendra Modi and requested them to waive off the debt. It shows the dual character of Amarinder Singh.”

Capt Amarinder Singh has been frequently misguiding the Punjab farmers that he will waive off the debt of the farmers. Despite knowing the fact that he is exposed as he has no right to waive off the debt. The centre government is entitled to take a call only and centre can do it.

Amarinder has no right to waive off the debt but he constantly misguiding them. He promised them if Congress forms the government, he will do it. A state CM has no constitutional right to waive off the debt of the farmers.

During his regime in 2002-2007 he didn’t waive off the debt of the farmers. Moreover, he didn’t come out with a single pro-farmers scheme. He taking affidavits from the farmers and pretending himself a rescuer.

Amarinder also met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and requested him to waive off the debt. Why he met the PM when he is confident of doing it alone? It is crystal clear that he duped the farmers of Punjab.

In the regime of UPA government from 2004 to 2014, he never met the then PM Manmohan Singh and requested him to waive off the debt. And now he is shouting that he would do it alone. Amarinder has been playing cheap politics woo the farmers of Punjab.

Amarinder Singh had helped Robert Wadra’s company to buy the land forcibly from Punjab farmers. Later, the court intervened and the farmers got respite. Even on SYL issue, Amarinder had initiated the concept and now shedding crocodile tears.

Hence, it is proved that Amarinder Singh has completely lost his credibility in Punjab. He is baiting the farming community by making false promises.

Talwandi Sabo candidate of Congress having criminal background

“Punjab Congress claimed that the clean image leaders will be the party’s candidate. Meet Khushbaz Singh Jatana, the party candidate from Talwandi Sabo. Jatana was involved in various criminal activities in Chandigarh. Finally, the goon’s name was cleared for Talwandi Sabo constituency.”

Jatana was the president of Students Organisation of Panjab University in 2003. He contested the student council polls but lost the elections with a huge margin. He was arrested by Chandigarh Police for assaulting then PUSU President Malwinder Singh Kang.

He was arrested under sections 147, 148, 323, 506 and 307 of IPC for the attack.  Kang was the president of Panjab University Campus Students Council, was admitted to the PGI with broken teeth, bleeding head and injuries all over the body.

The situation got out of control at that time when Jatana, along with around six others attacked Kang with batons and swords. Punjab Congress has given ticket to a criminal background person. As per the information, the party workers from Talwandi Sabo are not happy for Jatana’s name.

The Congress party has given chance to seven new novices and ignored even the prominent leaders of the party. It seems the Punjab Congress is completely derailed from its track. Earlier, the party had to announce the list of 71 candidates but the party withheld the names of 12 sitting legislators.

The party released the list of 61 candidates in its first phase. A source in the party said that the infighting within the senior leadership is the major cause of delay in the list.
