Senior panel gave a miss to PPCC Meet!

Punjab Congress Committee never misses a chance to make a headline. This is all revealed that nothing is going smooth in the Captain’s team. And it is once again witnessed at a recently held meeting at Chandigarh where all the top slot players of the Punjab Congress committee decide to give it a miss.

The first-ever meeting of the newly constituted PPCC meant for interaction between the top leadership and members of the apex body saw various big wigs of the team giving it a miss.

Amarinder loyalists got upset

Those who doesn’t made it to the meeting were Pratap Bajwa, Shamsher Singh Dullo, Mohinder Kaypee, Sunil Jakhar, Sukhjinder Randhawa, Parminder Singh Pinki, Charanjit Singh Channi, Sukhjinder Raj Lali Majithia, Navtej Cheema and many more.  The reason for absentees was cited personal issues or commitments. But sources told a different tale that they preferred to stay away as they were peeved off at the way they had been placed in the new set up.

Turning down the issue, the Chief of PPCC Captain Amarinder Singh opted to choose the occasion to uplift the morale of those present. He talked about the recent and poor performance of Aam Aadmi party at Delhi municipal by-elections. He quoted, “Now the army of Congress is in place and our victory is sure.” The AAP has already lost in Punjab with a vertical division between the four MPs.

Meanwhile, Ambika Soni, Chairperson of the PPCC and State In-Charge Shakeel Ahmad asked the newly appointed office bearers to take up the charge and get along everyone to mark a victory in Punjab.

Also, putting all speculations to rest, Captain Amarinder Singh and party strategist Prashant Kishore found sharing camaraderie. Though Prashant was seated behind Captain, indicating the role being defined by the top panel only!

Captain Amarinder off to USA & Canada as the weather heats up in India!

As the several parts in India soar high in heat, our carefree captain Amarinder Singh escapes to USA & Canada. Named as political tour, it aims to woo the NRIs for the forthcoming Assembly elections to be held in 2017 and for obvious reasons to beat the heat back in India.

CONGRESS 125

The Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh aims at encountering the AAP’s (AamAadmi Party’s) influence on NRIs and garnering the Punjabi’s support for the Congress. Embarked on his 18-day tour he is accompanied with a host of party leaders including Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans and Vikramjit Chaudhary (Punjab Youth Congress Chief).

Amarinder’s wife and Congress MLA Preneet Kaur soon would return from her New Zealand- Australia tour and then would undertake a tour to Germany, UK and Italy.

So the entire Maharaja Amarinder Singh’s family is on an international tour. They chose the best time to fly away from India when common man back in the state is suffering high due to soaring mercury. It shows how much people-oriented the Congress team is!!

Also, some are of viewed that during the recent visit by Rahul Gandhi to Punjab, he didn’t name Captain Amarinder Singh as the purported Chief Minister of Punjab and out of this outrage, he flown away to USA.

Untitled353
Amarinder Singh’s wife Praneet Kaur & Son Raninder Singh under radar

The point is no matter how disastrous the Congress performs, the top slot doesn’t change. Both Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are on the top. Thus no real change ever occurs.  When Punjab got rid of Amarinder, tainted with scams, he bad mouthed Rahul Gandhi. But to everyone’s surprise he is back in power.Though his name is still pending to be announced officially for Congress in Punjab!

The rising infighting and indiscipline in the Congress has already shaken up the foundation of the party. It clears the fact that this party is running around as headless chook.

Such thug politicians forgot that NRIs left their motherland to save themselves the political hooligans. They can’t achieve their cheesy aims while sowing the seeds of division among the foreign diaspora and damaging their peace.

Captain Amarinder is been trolled the most on social media platforms because of his own awful antics, thoughts and actions. People of Punjab have gradually lost trust on him and his ambitions to uplift the state. His efforts to garner vote in Punjab would bring him success or not, is the fact still in doubts!

Punjab Congress struggle hard as Assembly Elections near Approaches

Alleged as the main challenger in the forthcoming Assembly Elections 2017 in Punjab, the Congress party is gearing hard to develop a constructive vote bank. The poll elections are less than a year away now, the unit of Punjab Congress party has been striving to turn the tide in its favor. But rather to moving towards progress, it seems to head on a self-destruction way.

The Congress’ chances turn out to be fading in the assembly elections due to the increasing in-fighting in the party. The ministers and members of the unit failed to share a cordial relationship. It has been discovered in the recent rallies and meetings held by Punjab congress in different parts of the state in view to share the party plans with its members or supporters.

The Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh himself was ashamed on finding such nuisance and lack of trust among the party members itself. He tried to pacify the environment but no one bothered to pay any heed to him. Such incidents would definitely bring them no win. The tension grips the Congress people.

ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS IN PUNJABWhile the opposition parties take full advantage of the situation and leaving no chance to deface the congress party. Even the appointment of Prashant Kishore, a famous poll election strategist, is not able to unite the team as whole. While trying to give a political makeover to Punjab Congress chief, his own reputation is at stake in the state.

The appointment of Amarinder Singh as state chief by Rahul Gandhi (Vice President, Congress) is not welcomed by every member of the party. Rahul failed to please the disgruntled sections of the party. Next, in an effort to bring balance in PPCC (Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee), Rahul Gandhi put Ambika Soni (former Union Minister) as in charge of Election Campaign Committee. Again this move did not go well with Amarinder Singh.

The situation goes haywire when party leaders started raising petty issues relating to own constituency. The lack of trust and unity ensue the congress unit. A team which is not able to ally its own people than how could it be able to bind the entire Punjab?is a question to ponder upon.

In short, the Punjab Congress has been hurtling from one crisis to another and its leaders are voicing our differently.

Capt Amarinder readies to hang up his electoral boots

CONGRESS 96
Punjab Congress chief Capt. Amarinder Singh will fight his last electoral battle

“This will be my last electoral battle. Every soldier needs to hang up their boots some time,” said former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh during his much talked “Coffee with Captain” campaign in Amritsar.

Playing safe, as he is aware of his defeat in Punjab, he further stated that “We want to provide opportunities to others, to the youth and those who have a potential to grow as good leaders but do not have any family connections.”

It is important to mention here is that Captain had been blaming Badal for not looking beyond his own self and the family. Now, the same Captain is geared up to introduce his 27-year-old grandson, Nirvan Singh, to politics.

Ahead of Punjab assembly polls, Captain is leaving no stone unturned to make his mark. He even urged people of Punjab to vote for the Grand Old Party – Congress, saying, “This is not the time for experiments, and that the state needs an experienced party and an experienced leader.”

Sitting on an exclusive Royal Chair and making a pitch for Industrial development in Punjab, Captain said, “People of Punjab are in debt, industries, agriculture, economy all have deteriorated. It is very much important to create an ecosystem that will let industries thrive. Punjab cannot work on trial and error basis when electing a government.”

Also, Captain did not miss a chance to degrade ruling SAD-BJP government. “While the ruling politicians are amassing huge wealth growing richer and richer, Punjab was getting poorer and poorer to the extent of going bankrupt”, he said, while adding, he will ensure that they are made to account for each penny they looted from Punjab.

Noteworthy, the same Captain, who is showing concern about Punjab and Punjabis’, had been ‘inaccessible’ to his own party cadre. One of the senior leaders from Congress had highlighted that despite of repeated reminders and phone calls, he could not get audience with Captain for over two months.

CONGRESS 97
Capt. Amarinder Singh during Coffee with Captain Campaign in Amritsar

If Captain is really concerned about the welfare of Punjab then he should make an effort to reach ‘poor’ in Punjab, instead of inviting ‘rich’ to his much hyped ‘Coffee with Captain’ campaign in the state, which he claims as the best interactive mode to understand the people of Punjab.

Congress dirty linen washed publicly

CONGRESS 94

PPCC Chief Captain Amarinder Singh hits back at his own party leader and former Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Bir Devinder. He had idiom Bir’s ‘Guest Column’ write-up as Congress Obituary and fired him for his act.

Captain defends himself
Capt Amarinder Singh has gone public to defend himself on charges of being accessible to public and party leaders after Bir wrote an article in a leading newspaper expressing his doubts over Congress success in the 2017 assembly poll.  Bir had predicted that Congress is going for tough triangular contest and party seems losing battle. While targeting Capt Amarinder Singh for his autocratic style of functioning, Bir noted that party’s grass root cadre is facing a comprehensive disconnect with state’s top leadership.

“Paradox apart, it is strange and amusing that Punjab Congress chief media panelist Bir Devinder Singh, otherwise supposed to present and highlight the party’s point of view in a positive way, has chosen to start his new job with a vicious and wishful obituary of the party itself in his guest column (‘Can Cong rescue itself before Punjab polls?’) in the newspaper”, said Captain defending himself.

He also addressed Bir as “sulking, uprooted” leader indirectly. “Leaders like Bir must be feeling demoralized, disgruntled and disillusioned, but certainly not the rank and file of the Congress which is as enthused and excited as it should be”, said Captain.

Bir, a seasoned leader; says Captain
Captain termed Bir Devinder, who at time was among his best pals, as a seasoned leader. Also, he said that he had made a mistake by rehabilitating Bir Devinder who was desperately struggling in political wilderness by appointing his chief media panelist.

Captain mentioned in his write up, “A seasoned leader as he happens to be, Bir Devinder has the political experience and exposure, having travelled across the wide political spectrum from the Congress to the People’s Party of Punjab, to the Akali Dal and then back to the Congress and may be a possible future adventure somewhere else. No wonder, such “insightful and thoughtful” revelations can come from such “distinct and exclusive experience” only.”

The infighting between the Congress units of Punjab has proved that the party would create hat trick in Punjab assembly poll by repeating its defeat for the third time in a row.

Congress leaders are no more united and they don’t even speak in a single tone over crucial issues.

The mystery shrouded around the alleged affair and wedding of ex-chief minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh with the Pakistan-based journalist Aroosa Alam.

Even the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad was buzzed with griping comments and rumors about the affair between the two. Aroosa Alam is a Pak-journalist who has been associated with ISI. The federal ministers and high profile leaders have been found putting interesting comments on the issue.

Although Captain Amarinder always denied the reports of affair with Aroosa, but their closeness in public appearance were evident to everyone and displayed some other story. The affair turned into marriage rumors when love struck Amarinder was found spending state’s exchequer funds on his girlfriend Aroosa.

23

The relationship which started on a friendship note took the romantic turn resulted into a wedlock. But it was not clear whether Amarinder has converted to Islam or Aroosa accepted the Sikhism. As the wedding was possible in these two conditions only!

Aroosa is a daughter of an ill-famed Pak woman who was close to Pakistani General Yahaya Khan. She was often called General’s Rani because of her alleged relations with General. Following her mother’s footsteps, Aroosa been linked up to many top-notch celebs of Pakistan. She allured a Jat politician from Guranwala district, named Hamid Nasir Chatha. Reports of their close contact churned the rumor mills.

Aroosa started her career from English daily from capital Islamabad. Her department was related to defense and diplomatic issues. She even worked as a correspondent for Weekly Hurrmat Urdu. Today she is working for Daily Pakistan Observer in Islamabad.

She has joined SAFMA, a media NGO in India once she was elected as senior Vice President of Rawalpindi Islamabad Press Club. She builds a sound relationship with Indian Ambassador Shiv Shankar Menon of that time, and it was due to his influence and assistance she got special visa of India. It was a rare privilege for a Pakistani Journo.  Menon is now serving as a secretary in Foreign Affairs of India.

The SAFMA members are considered to have suspicious links with hostile intelligence communities of India and Pakistan. It has been stated that Asoora is close connected with top brass of ISI.

Not long ago, Asoora has bought a house worth whopping Rs seven crore after her friendship or love affair with Captain Amarinder Singh. As per the sources to be believed this lavish mansion is gifted by Captain himself, to his lady love.

Congress Woes: Crunch or Corruption?

The Congress-led UPA escalates inequality in their policy slate that allows a narrow portion of the Indian populace to mount vast amounts of wealth. The policies which were sought to enhance the entrepreneurial class as the engine of growth provided that class with the methods to benefit through corruption. The number of scams and scandals rocked the Congress began under the leadership of Dr. Manmohan Singh. And the time Indian electoral began; the Congress was tagged as the party of corruption. It was something that the incumbent party could not shake.

On the flip side of the coin, it is displayed that the Grand Old party of Indian political ground is facing a financial crunch. In the power of ten years, the party took a huge overdraft from the banks while serving at the Centre. The party treasurer admitted to the same but tried to conceal the facts while terming it as a normal thing. The party didn’t even reveal the amount borrowed when asked. Rather they have been quoted saying that it is their personal and internal matter.  But few of the sources peg the amount to be around Rs. 300 crore.

369369369

The Congress aspirants complained on getting no fund from the party. Each contender can spend up to Rs. 60 lakh per constituency as per the election commission guidelines but many of them were told to seize for themselves.

The corrupt congress displayed the fake financial crunch to its leaders and public. In fact the reality was something else. It was to defraud the emotions of own leaders. The party involved in different scams and corruption cases. Even today many of the Congress ministers are struggling to prove their innocence before the law.

Spearheaded by Sonia Gandhi, the Congress party has now lost all its charm which was build be the Gandhi clan for years.  Over and above, Mr. Rahul Gandhi (trolled as Pappu) leading the party backwards with his so called antics, statements and speeches!!

369369369 There is no unity in the team and leaders try to drag the fellow members down. Even the Gandhis are blamed for making no-participatory decision. They follow the rule of autocracy while Madam and Pappu rule the empire.

In short, Congress tenure comes to a horrific end. From here there is no scope to improvise and lead in the power. The golden era concludes on a very disturbing note.

Congress to woo Punjabi NRIs with eye on 2017 polls

Visits by political delegations to woo the Punjabi Diaspora settled abroad have begun, which gave a clear indication of all the major political parties in Punjab getting into the poll mode for 2017 assembly elections.

nri

With a hope that the NRIs will do for them what they did for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress is now planning to send its senior leaders abroad to woo the Punjabi NRIs.

The party is planning a trip to those pockets in the US, Canada and Europe where Punjabis are politically active and are keen to get involved in state politics. Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh, his wife Preneet Kaur, an MLA from Patiala, and a host of state leaders will soon fan out to different parts of the globe to connect with the Punjabi community living abroad.

Internal rift between AAP in Punjab has shown hope to the Congress leaders, who not missing a chance stated, “Internal rift between AAP and the party’s sagginess in Punjab have disappointed the NRIs. It is the right time to strike to win them over as many of them are still upset with the ruling SAD-BJP government”, said one of the senior leaders of Congress. “NRIs can also help with funds and that would cut AAP’s financial lifeline”, he further added.

It is no more a secret that the success of AAP in 2014 general elections in Punjab was due to liberal donation of funds by NRIs and their being captivated with promise of clean and educated leadership offered by the AAP. At that time, non-resident Indians showed a marked preference for the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party.

In today’s high-tech world, the NRIs play a major role in elections, as they get involved in politics of their respective home states, through micro blogging sites and media, i.e. local new channels.  It is therefore no wonder that political leaders from all parties feel the need to get in touch with the NRIs living abroad, if not on party forum than on individual basis.

Congress is leaving no stone unturned, as firstly it had hired political strategist Prashant Kishore to frame the party’s political strategy for the upcoming polls, as he was the key person behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Victory. Secondly, its top leaders are flying overseas to woo the Punjabi NRIs, as it has realized the role played by NRIs in AAP getting a big vote percentage in Punjab earlier.

Anti Congress Campaigns getting hype

‘Congress-Mukt Bharat’ was a tagline emerged and successfully pulled the attention at the height of the Modi campaign. Survived the longest, it attracted lot of views and opinions. The meaning is way more than these three words.

461078636
Anti Congress Campaign

Beyond the combat between the BJP and Congress, it becomes the effective analytical construct to apprehend the Indian political scene. In this context, Congress should not be seen in the narrow confines but what is sought to defines it as an entity that was the centre of authority for really long six decades. In literal meaning, it’s not what the Congress party is, but all it has represented so far.

Sloganeering apart, the real idea remains to build a new axis of power which replaces the previous. For this, there must be a desired mix of policies and politics. That’s the point where the political parties are able to sink their differences.

But the Congress seems in no mind to work on their ideologies to mend their ways of politicking. For instance, the opposition party feels that Rahul Gandhi’s visit to JNU was a political stunt with a view to cement its new centrist image, a sign which is largely belonged to the Congress.

For Congress, it’s a battle for existence. Despite the aim to win elections, Congress has much more at stake in the forthcoming state elections than other parties. In Assam, Kerala and Punjab, where it’s an incumbent, prove to be really tough choice. It has already lost in Arunachal Pradesh due to bad management and plans.

32111
Congress failure: President’s rule in Arunachal Pradesh

The dripping count means that the Congress, may be experiencing a complete wipe-out in the nation over the next years. The last time in Mandal-Kamandal politics, it was the Congress which was totally eroded from the base.

Congress-Mukt Bharat abhiyan would definitely bring a new wave of cheer and development around. The party is been constantly accused for playing anti-national games. Its leaders are seen in different anti-India meets or events. Recent JNU incident is the prime example. Even in Punjab, many anti-religion events occurred in recent time, which have been caused by the ill-will of Congress party. It is here to win at any stake. It can go beyond measures to reach out the vote bank. The party doesn’t give a damn to the right or wrong. All it aims to win the state elections and get in the power again.

Rahul Gandhi’s Reality Bites

Rahul Gandhi, Vice President of the Indian National Congress and the leader of the opposition is more famous rather infamous for his impaired speech, lack of knowledge and inability to understand the Indian politics. It is a known fact that the Congress party cannot function without the Gandhi surname behind it, Gandhi’s for Congress is similar to Apple for iPhone. Well, there were speculations to get Rahul Gandhi in the Congress party as the party needed a new face and obviously they have always banked upon the emotions of the Indians thus Rahul Gandhi’s arrival in the party was much awaited.

Untitled456456
Rahul Gandhi

Despite many other credible leaders, the party chose Rahul Gandhi as its Vice Preside regardless of the fact that apart from the family name Gandhi the person has no ther credibility and this is not for the sake of saying rather the series of events post Rahul Gandhi’s coronation puts a stamp on this.

A lot has been talked about his fake education certificates, poor academic qualifications but setting aside all this, Rahul has made no significant contributions to the Indian economy, society and welfare. All that we know about Rahul Gandhi is that he is good at making a mockery of himself and the Congress party.

Untitled456456
Truth About Rahul’s Degree

From Rahul’s ridiculed speech in the parliament; or regarding the improvement in the condition of poverty ridden people that sums up to one third of Indian population, or about the rising inflation; Rahul Gandhi failed to make an impact, although lately he has started contributing to the issues facing the nation but as they that for a person born in the riches, poverty is only the state of mind, Rahul Gandhi proves every bit of it.

His unbearable silence and support to the anti-national activities like the JNU event, SarbatKhalsa in Punjab , hampering the seamless flow of the parliament are a clear reflection of his poor leadership quality which Congress party and its leaders hail . Never has been the moment since his incoming (2004) till date that one can quote a single event of his helpful contribution to the nation and that man is projected as a contender for being the Prime Minister, what is even more disgraceful, that party people openly support him without questioning his decisions that are affecting the party’s stature on the national front.
