On Sunday, Chief of Punjab Bhartiya Janata Party, Vijay Sampla, asked Congress President Captain Amarinder Singh to rather list out the achievements accomplished by Congress since he has been the Chief Minister rather than resorting to the burning of “chitta” Ravan effigies.
Sampla also claimed that Amarinder does not have any concrete issue to reach out the people of Punjab and therefore was resorting to cheap antics as advised by his hired strategists. “The strategists are preparing agenda for him on day-to-day basis involving a lot of drama,” said Sampla.
He went on to say that both Aam Aadmi Party and Amarinder are, in the name of drugs, defaming Punjab. The Congress was also seen making fun of the religious tradition of burning Ravana, the demon king’s effigy on Dussehra.
“Amarinder is scared of losing the polls for the third time and is taking the help of effigies to save his political existence,” added Sampla.
